Is it true that they are not going to allow even the Last Rites of the Catholic Church to be given her?

I'm hearing conflicting stories about that myself.

Let Judge Greer go home. The devil's waiting

----

I know its frustrating, but as a Christian, we should never want anyone to go to eternal damnation. It is God's gift of salvation for all which breaks us free from our sin nature.

As much as I despise this man, I hope he finds Christ and finds what he did not give Teri - mercy.

If he claims he is a Christian, I do not know how he can sleep at night. God chastens his children in his own way to that effect.

I believe that I heard on FOX that she had the Last Rites when the tube was removed.

Roman Catholic Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski and another Catholic priest gave Terri Schiavo last rites, putting a few drops of communion wine in her feeding tube hours before it was removed

Michael S. has ordered this. Said he didn't want anything near her mouth.

My question: Since I'm not Catholic and not familiar with the rituals of last rites, is there any way they could give her these last rites without using the host?

I've heard that, too. How sad, if true. But I understand she has had the last rites on at least one other occasion, a year or 2 ago. I've also heard that while parts of her brain are (clearly) severely damaged, some doctors believe, based on the CAT scans, that it is confined only to the speech and vision centers, that is the most severe damage. The atrophy and spastic movements we've seen have less to do with the brain injury and more to do with the lack of regular physical therapy as denied her by her husband. It was a doctor on Fox (I'm looking for link) last night who claimed he'd examined her and the CAT scan.

At this point, I have to agree. She has suffered enough, by her injuries and her lack of proper care.

Jesus awaits Terri Schiavo at the gates of heaven with open arms. He will grant her eternal rest.

Well said.

It doesn't matter. God looks upon the heart; ritual is more for the comfort of those left behind.
