On Greta's show tonight, it was explained that Greer issued an injunction against DCF taking Terri because she has a guardian. If she didn't have a guardian, they could take her. As it is, the DCF can only VIEW her at the hospice. They cannot remove her----like to a hospital.
So it sounds to me, that unless something changes, all hope now hangs on the Supreme Court right now.
Greer is bluffing. The law gives DCF the authority and obligation to take her into emergency protective custody. They do not need permission from a judge for that. Of course, that law was written before Judge Greer became the most powerful man in the country. Maybe it's no longer valid.
If you read the law they can override the guardian if they suspect the guardian is neglecting the patient. And obvious thing if you think about it.
Well the guardian was Judge Greer (another conflict as technically, he cannot be the judge and the guardian).
If she has a guardian, why is she being killed? Apparently the guardian is not doing the job.
So, if a child was being abused, and he had a guardian, he could not be removed from a home? Only view him?
Yeah right! There is something wrong in this reporting.
