My prayer is that this judge will at long last rule correctly and that Terri will survive until they can hydrate her. God is able.

Well Senator Jim King from the state of Florida thinks he's a Christian and can't understand why we don't want her to go to heaven? I noticed he never said the word "die". Just always, she needs to go to heaven.
But that's not the way he thinks. It's all about self. Terri supported him. She worked, he had 6 jobs in 2 years. Even after her collapse, it was about money. Now he has a nice house and 2 kids and he thinks he'll be happy if he can just get rid of the evidence (Terri). We know he's wrong but he didn't EARN anything he has. Terri's settlement money put him through nursing school. NOTHING he has is his. He just doesn't know it. Sooner or later, God will show him.
Here in Oregon this time of year Easter eggs are on sale for less than 50 cents a dozen and free with a coupon in some store.

Yes! I too have had atheists and agnostics tell me even they knew the difference between right and wrong.. I just think that SoCar's post about prayers being useless was offensive and should be pulled.
I just listened to an interview Bobby gave to Fox News. He was very graceful and articulate. I was most impressed when he answered the question "What message do you have for those who support Terri?" He said, "Continue to pray for my sister. Pray for my parents. Most importantly, pray for Michael Schiavo." That tells me a lot about this young man.

It seems whitmore is going to go point by point to condemn the new evidence and then run out the clock. It is going to go up to the 11th then get re rejected and then reject the enbanc. (which is very very common btw) and then the USSC will again reject it.
If whitmore was serious he would have ruled first then issued the followup order.
Considering that Michael Schiavo used to close the door, when he visited Terri at the hospice, and leaving Terri in tears and stressed, when he left -- per testimony of several nurses. I wonder if he spent time with Terri alone in the hospital.
My guess is, that he probably did. He was trying to finish, what he started at home.

This was the evidentiary hearing, this is not the de novo which will be a trial with a jury and testimony etc...this is to get the tube back so that Terri can get her trial but be alive for it as well...the statute provided that we get a trial de novo, without the court referring to any of the old record and especially not to consider the opinion of Greer.

Who are they praying to? Why should He answer them? Would He answer you? How would you know what He wants from you? What is prayer, just asking for something and hoping you get it?
You don't know these basics, because you haven't met God yet. He became incarnate 2000 years ago, meaning He not only was still God, but He added to Himself a human nature. Jesus was fully God, and fully man.
He taught us Who God is, and what He wants. We have it recorded in the New Testament of the Bible. We find out there that the ONLY mediator we have to even get access with the Father is Jesus Christ. How do we have access to Him? By believing what He has done for you.
He took all the things from you that grieved God, all your sins, and died in your place, and took your punishment even unto death. He didn't deserve that, we did. But He loves us.
He rose from that death after three days, because the Father accepted His death as payment in full, and His own sinlessness could not be held by death. He proved to His followers and us that He is not only man, but also the Son of God Himself.
He wants to change our lives and make us more like Him. He wants us to talk to Him, take our sins in prayer to Him, receive His forgiveness, talk to Him and worship Him. He says He is always interceding for us, as well as the Holy Spirit prays for us with words which cannot be uttered.
What the "complete waste of time" you refer to is, anything DONE which is not done through faith alone in this Jesus. "That which is not done of faith is sin." And He's referring to the true Christian faith, the Gospel. Mormons do alot to promote families, yet they believe in different definition of the God and Jesus of historic Christianity. So they can be DOING, but end in hell rejecting the real Jesus.
Salvation does not come from what WE do, but from what HE has done for us, and we humbly kneel at His feet in gratitude for His love and forgiveness, and He allows us to be used by His Spirit inside us.
Protesting and being active keeps you busy on this earth, but God will only ask you one Question: What do you think of My Son? I hope you believe, and will join in the joys of praying to Him, worshipping Him, and walking with Him to bring His love to the hurting.
