I thought that Whittemore would rule tonight. We heard that he would rule before he went to bed. It must be 1am on the East Coast.
Well, if he's like the rest of us, he could be up all night!:)
Besides, as Governor, Jeb wouldn't be arrested. He could get brought up for impeachment, but he wouldn't get arrested. I don't think most states allow the arrest of governors or legislators, at least while in session or on official business. I don't know about judges. I'll have to look that up. I imagine they'd be brought before the legislature for impeachment too.
Bump!
Folks, isn't Easter about Christ setting an example for us to give up our lives for others in love?
I guess Jeb isn't up to setting that example for our kids....
So that leaves his brother, the president. Judge Roy Moore said on Sean Hannity that the president can fully tackle this under the Constitution and he's right.
I marvel that so few consider that part of the executive branch's job is to hold the judiciary accountable to the Constitution.
There's this love affair....infatuation or something....the Bushes can do no wrong. No one holds them accountable to do the right thing. There are always excuses. It simply amazes me. I voted for Bush. I've supported them in the past, but my stupidity is done - unless God gives them nightmares tonight and they awaken in the morning with more fear of God than man.
NO, Prayer is the FIRST and LAST thing we do...the BEST thing we do.... We are instructed in the Bible to pray without ceasing... If we can not be in Florida, cross that line, try to save her, try to bring her water, get ourselves arrested for trying, we have prayer which God has given us.
I can't remember a time when I've had more political anger than I do right now. The left, both party-line Democrats and pro-death Republicans, are murdering an innocent bystander as a way of punishing Christian conservatives for our recent electoral advances. Their actions in this case are the moral equivalent of a suicide bombing against innocent civilians. In so doing they have started a conflict that will not have a peaceful resolution. This will not be forgotten.
No.
The judiciary is not fearful now.
They're emboldened more than ever.
Wait and see.
:)
We most ceratainly are. I haven't been able to think of much else for days.
Good night, Otta. Prayers for journey's mercies.
I'm here, LegalEagle!! And I don't plan on going anywhere for a while, but will have to get some sleep eventually. My kids don't have school tomorrow so I have to have "some" energy for them! lol
Uhh, Uhh...wait don't tell us...Charlie?
I love the fact that we have Nancy Grace on CNN and Joe Scarborough on MSNBC... this means the people who don't watch Fox (Hannity's their best bet), can hear some truth!
Maybe they will give them things to think about....because this isn't just about saving Terri, this is about not letting this happen again... not letting murdering judges, husbands and lawyers get away with it!
Good rant. :)
That's good! I give you a "10" for that one!
Nancy Grace on CNN headline Prime even seems to be pro- Terri finally.
What I'm finding everywhere is commentors' lack of theological knowledge stops them cold, and only brings them to a point. They want to help her, think the system can, and just take their hands off if law doesn't work.
One older lady hadn't seen the video of Terri, then when she saw it, although she saw it only while IN studio with Larry King, she changed her position on the spot and was pro-Terri.
If Terri could live, people would understand.
I think I must have sent a prayer up with every fax I sent out the last few days. I'm sure the rest here sent them out as they were calling, emailing, etc. too.
Is Terri allowed to have flowers? I would like to send an Easter lilly. Maybe FReepers and others could flood the place with Easter Lillies. Please let me know as I don't know whom else to ask!!!!!!!
Well, I tried Joe and he sorta growled at me.
Let me try Dave....
