Whittemore's comment sounds just like the action of Pilot washing his hands of any responsibility for Christ's death. It is as if the Passion of Christ is being replayed this week.

We'll never have the judges, the political will, or frankly a concerned enough electorate.

It's going to take a lot of work....perhaps working at it for the rest of our lives. The mess is too great and too deep to believe it can be solved very quickly.

I most definitely agree with you, but since 9/11, many of us have woken up. I know I have anyway. And it's so very disturbing to talk to people & find out that they really just don't seem to care about what's going on in the world today. And they really don't care to even know the details behind what possibly put Terri Shaivo in this condition in the first place. So sad. And in the meantime, an innocent disabled woman is slowly dying. *sigh* All we can do is pray that eyes continue to be opened & that people realize prayer is the strongest tool we have against the enemy. Don't you agree?

I did hear remarks by Whittemore reported on the news which sounded reasonable. Also, comments by two attorneys, who said Gibbs correcting the error may well mean a different ruling this time. We'll see.

This began so many years ago with crimes against the unborn - now we are faced with unthinkable crimes against the aged and disabled. The long, slippery slope.

I've fought that fight (abortion), too, but haven't done much in the last several years. So many battles now...:(

You have no reason to defend yourself to anyone, you've been here and you have done alot as we all have, you have no one to answer to, if that poster doesn't like how we discuss stuff here, he/she can find another blog, I am sure there are others where they never say a single prayer.
