THAT is wonderful. You are really blessed.
Whittemore is another Pontius Pilate, like Greer. Attorney David Gibbs said that Terri's life depended on his ruling because she was quickly running out of time. Judge Whittemore became defensive and told Gibbs, "Don't start that with me. I am not responsible for her."
Can't believe, if what TEJ wrote is true, that Tallahassee doesn't know the statutes, case law precedent.
um, well, maybe I can believe it. Congress didn't know to make their decision all-inclusive rather than just for Terri.
Meeting in Tampa Florida with Judge Whittemore is over.
Praying that decision is favorable to Terri.
15 years they've lived this nightmare. Unreal.
And how much longer than that did Terri live HER nightmare being married to ms.
OK keep praying. I've also slept little in the past few days. I will start another thread.
Yes, he should, and we all should say: "Yes Lord."
I don't live in Florida, SoCar. So I am limited in what I can physically DO.
I have read and read to educate myself about the facts.
I have informed others about the facts.
I have e-mailed my Senators, my representative, the President, the Florida Senators, the Florida Representatives.
I have called DCF.
I have e-mailed and called some more.
I don't have money to send to buy lawyers, nor would I know who the Schindlers have gotten to represent them.
And, I pray.
If more people understood what it means to pray and what power there is in prayer, our country wouldn't be in the mess it is in right now.
As for action, I'm all for it. I even spoke of it earlier in my American Revolution and Patrick Henry posts.
God stopped several of us in the middle of what we were doing by impressing upon our hearts to pray. Every now and then it is good to be still and know that He is God.
I don't even no what to say. My son heard Bobby Schindler tell Hannity tongith that he thought they were well represented.
I thought this was a DCF appeal and would be handled by their judges.
Judge Whittemore will rule against Terri. Whittemore acted like he is against Terri's family and attorney.
That's very true, BG.
OK, pray in addition to action. I have no problem with that. Many here seem to pray so they don't have to act. Not you though.
Just out of curiosity, what action have YOU taken?
Out of respect for those in this thread who have labored to the BEST OF THEIR ABILITY to make a difference, those who HAVE stayed up ALL NIGHT to pray for Terri, her family, her family's counsel, their fellow FReepers and who have kept watch and us informed with their research, who have participated in protests, and so forth and so on, I won't say what I wish to say.
What you are doing is trolling and baiting. As you can very well see, no one here is responsing to your requests to "debate and discuss". You have been informed that there are other threads on this forum in which active discussion is taking place. Instead you choose to criticize these good people for doing the only thing that they can do at this point. That is offensive and uncalled for.
Until this thread takes a different course, those here are CHOOSING to pray. If that is not to your liking, find another party. What is so hard about that that you can't understand it?
Yeah judge you are responsible for her, and deep down you know it too or you wouldn't be so defensive
Think congress may not go too easy on Whittemore. Other thread has some of that info.
I just heard one of the Schindler lawyers on Special Report and the main part of the case they made to the Judge was that they are challenging the hearsay testimony of Michael, his brother and sis-in-law as to Terri's alleged "wishes"...because they also have testimony that refutes it. Plus they are challenging the court's finding of PVS state of Terri and they had other stuff as well such as the abuse etc..., but he said the main focus was the hearsay testimony as that is the basis for this whole thing, so from what he said it sounds like they argued the right things..they included the disabled Persons Act too...hope and pray
