Take care of yourself. Prayers are with you (all) and Terri.
she was taken off her feeding tube for 6 days and Jeb got a bill through the legislature and got it reinstalled. If not for that, we wouldn't be here today - Terri would've been dead some time ago.
Now are you going to say - "well then, all this ruckus now is his fault because she's still here today?"
Lanny Davis, former White House Counsel for Bill Clinton is on Terri's side per The Factor, O' Reilly. There are a lot of democrats that are supporting Terri. I am thrilled to see the democrats on my tv willing to talk about Terri.
So, did your mother say she heard it would happen tonight? Or just that it was going to happen?
Thanks.

LOL.....this could get SO convuluted if you think about it. If ms is the guardian....then he is not the one "abusing her" because Greer ordered the removal of the tube? I have to leave this in God's hands...(like I have a choice) because my head is really getting fuzzy.
Sorry..didn't mean to sound an alarm when one might not exist.
Night all.
Due to my blurred vision at the moment, I will refer you to just she's post #124. As typing is becoming a chore, between crying and just being dead tired.
Boy do I ever hear you on that one!
Consent from the guardian? It's the guardian who's killing her.
This is the Roe v Wade of our time. Pray without ceasing because the dark forces are certainly busy.
Flowers and candles form an altar for Terri Schiavo outside Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, FL. A federal appeals court turned down an emergency request by the parents of a severely brain-damaged woman in Florida to have her feeding tube reinserted.(AFP/Robert Sullivan)
I just wrote Bush again, reminding him we are three EQUAL branches of government, that the Supreme Court decision is not the final word!!!! Pray that he hears and understands.
I will never understand why he has not intervened. A day or two is understandable. But not now. Would you ever trust a man who had the power to give you food and water, but withholds it despite pressure?
Why should I trust you, Bush? Isnt' it time to get your own wisdom, your own Christian maturity that doesn't require advisors?? Terri is SUFFERING. Rescue her, let the courts decide later.
If they decide yes, to put her to death, it will be harder, because she has family who cares for her, as well as a nation. Are we going to be silent as one by one the disabled, or the unattractive are murdered? INSTEAD, we could be a nation which suddenly turns, WANTING the disabled and helpless, VALUING life!!! Wanting unwanted babies!
So what if King George of Pinellas County claims himself a "Republican". So did King George of Illinois, who reigned from 1999-2003. He ran to the left of his opponent [and for that matter, probably to the left of Charles Schumer] on every issue, and governed to the left of that. The Republican Party leadership covered up his corruption in 1998 and as a result the party is in shambles.
(b) Emergency removal from premises.--If it appears that the vulnerable adult lacks the capacity to consent to emergency protective services and that the vulnerable adult, from the personal observations of the representative of the department and specified medical personnel or law enforcement officers, is likely to incur a risk of death or serious physical injury if such person is not immediately removed from the premises, then the representative of the department shall transport or arrange for the transportation of the vulnerable adult to an appropriate medical or protective services facility in order to provide emergency protective services. Law enforcement personnel have a duty to transport when medical transportation is not available or needed and the vulnerable adult presents a threat of injury to self or others. If the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian is present, the protective investigator must seek the caregiver's or guardian's consent pursuant to subsection (4) before the vulnerable adult may be removed from the premises, unless the protective investigator suspects that the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian has caused the abuse, neglect, or exploitation. The department shall, within 24 hours after providing or arranging for emergency removal of the vulnerable adult, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, petition the court for an order authorizing emergency protective services.
Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays--meaning, they take her on Thursday, they have til Monday to "petition the court".
Petition the court--take Greer into custody in shackles.
And start starving him.
Hey, it's painless, even euphoric.
The most peace-giving thing to me in this whole thing is that the Lord God knows every scintilla of motivation of everyone involved. Noone fools Him for an instant...
IRONIC, HUH?
And if all this fails, I wouldn't be surprised if W has an Ace hiding in his boot.
I have been thinking the same thing
I have not heard anything out of DCF saying they can't or won't go in.
According to his ex-wife, Senator Moran likes to hit people.
It is a good thing I can type without seeing, but the mind is going fast tonight. LOL
My husband is out tonight, and the snow is still pouring here, so I just can't go to bed until I know he is home safely.
