Congress is not presently in session. I'll guess they have some special treatment in mind for him. For one thing, some committee staffer has gone through the federal budget and lined out each and every federal expenditure scheduled for the Congressional district where Greer holds court.

It certainly looks that way doesn't it? I hope this is just a case of the glacial speed with which Congress usually moves. It could take weeks, if not months, for the procedure to be completed. Although, if I were betting my money would be on him getting away with his belligerent behavior. In my mind he has certainly come to represent all that's wrong with our judicial system.

You are right in that it is only the 'tip of the iceberg'.
There is more here. For example, the Hospice is a moneymaker by not caring for the patients.
