The spiritual advisor of the Schindlers, Bro. O'Donnell, said the Dept. of Children and Families has had a new physician examine Terri and that "he DID go into her room and WAS at her side and DID observe her."
Department of Children and Families, are the department if someone is being physically abused, or the elderly, and "they have the authority" to take her into protective custody.
He continued, "what is being done to her now constitutes" that, and that DCF should "be taking her into protective custody."
Cooper: "Aren't people being taken off feeding tubes all the time?" Brother O'Donnell: "When they're DYING. But she was not dying. She could live another 20, 40 years."
"She's the only person who has been COURT ORDERED to have her tubes removed. Not 'The guardian MAY" but the guardian 'shall' remove her tubes."
CNN checked on the facticity of this last claim, and found that "There is ONLY ONE other case, Nancy Beth Cuzan in which the court ordered the tube MUST be removed."
Dr.Sanjay Gupta says if Terri is in the minimally conscious state, her eyes open spontaneously. She must do one of the following: --follow simple commands (to show she can hear and understand) --give yes or no responses
I am with you -- this is much bigger than Terri and the husband is in it up to his neck. Only explanation for the judge's irrational ruling to starve someone to death.

I may actually start to understand Michael's motivations assuming he truly loves her. I know many will dismiss that. I simply don't know what is in his heart and neither do you.
Al Sharpton also said that he was against starving and dehydrating her.

Last night I saw Mort Kondrake repeating the line about how blissful and euphoric death by starvation really is (he "has read up on it"). I know about his wife's situation and I know they were faced with the issue, but I was a little stunned that Mort couldn't discern the difference between cessation of eating due to terminal illness and diseased tissue vs. withholding food and water from an otherwise healthy, non-dying body.
If you or I had been without nutrition and hydration for 5, nearly 6, days, it is doubtful that we would be able to communicate effectively either. Considering Terri's disability, the fact that she has been without food and water for such a long period of time, AND considering she may be receiving morphine, I don't find the physician's statement surprising at all.
Xena, don't you know? If it's not in the court documents, it CAN'T be true. Greer's court is OMNISCIENT! Greer is the alpha and omega, donchaknow.

Please, take it down a notch. We both have the same God. You refer to "MY GOD"....and use that as a club against me. Please, that isn't necessary.
And we were referring to Matthew 5:43-48 when Jesus taught:

MS and Greer have "marriage of convenience". At the very least MS no longer wants to care for Terri and may very well have caused her condition at the most. Greer has a right-to-die ideaology. They were drawn together by their own circumstances.

You have it exactly right. As I posted on another thread, I'm a criminal defense lawyer, former prosecutor, and I think I have a pretty good sense of criminal conspiracy when I see one. If Terri is allowed to live, receive therapy, recovers and talks, heads will really roll -- lots of them. Greer will be damn lucky to escape with losing his job and a judicial misconduct investigation. That Frankenstein's monster Schiavo will be prosecuted for and convicted of attempted murder. Greer is obviously insane. I see it all the time - formerly nice, down-to-earth people become judges (not saying Greer ever was this) and go crazy.

I'm reporting ABC which read from the doctor's report. If you don't like it, take it up with ABC. It's on their web site right now I'll bet.
