What is really wierd about this whole thing is Greer's intense motivation to torture and murder this woman, while there is so much doubt about her true condition, and the motivations of her 'husband' who has an intense, buring desire to see her dead.

These people are beond rational behavior, but I guess premeditated murder is not really considered rational behavior.

It's about a Judge's ego. Most of them get like that. He won't give in because to do so would be to relinquish his personal power.

These oddball judges are activists and they see themselves as a great part of American History as they consider those involved with abortion on demand to be.

His is driven personally and most likely behind the scenes to protect the judicial oligarchy.

A restraining order against the DCF? Actually sounds kind of desperate to me.

It is interesting, though, how completely irrationally he is behaving. Any normal, non-dictatorial man would have called for a de novo trial when this case went national.

Almost makes you wonder if there is a kickback in the works for his extraordinary effort to reduce Terri to ashes.

He won't even let the sun into her room. She can't go outside. What is his problem?

It's actually worse than that. Greer has studiously ignored standard judicial procedure to examine compelling new information that has been presented to him that Terri is NOT PVS and that Michael has abused her.

In concert with current judicial practice, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals simply ruled on Greer's ruling rather than consider the evidence available in the case.

There has never been a case that demonstrates more convincingly that the courts are out of control and have placed themselves above the "equal but separate" provision of the Constutution.

FWIW, I place my money on Gov. Bush and the FDLE, FHP and FL Nat. Guard over Judge Greer's . . . . uh, . . . . gavel?
