A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavos feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

This may explain the delay.
Vermin.
That's a non-profit hospice.
The demorats have had great success getting the judicial branch to kill 40 million American babies. With a track record like that, who can blame them for going after the disabled, the sick and the elderly. It will definitely reduce the costs of socialized medicine.
There's a thread here on FR that he withdrew membership from his church....because they were critical of his rulings. That says a lot.
He won't even let the sun into her room. She can't go outside. What is his problem?
"Did anybody hear that fat state Senator say, "to those of you who don't live in Florida who have been e-mailing me, STOP. I DO NOT CARE!" What a creep."
Sounds like an invitation to me....got his email addy?
It's obvious he doesn't care. But I think we should keep up the emails...because I don't CARE if it slows his office down.
I don't remember his name...he was fat. He eats a lot. I hope he enjoys his dinner tonight in this, Terri Schiavo's 6th day of forced starvation.
As in 'he's not Buddist', that's about all that means.
NO! Where did you hear that ?????
From Slate of all places:
"In addition to the rights all people enjoy, Ms. Schiavo has a statutory right under the Americans With Disabilities Act not to be treated differently because of her disability. Obviously, Florida law would not allow a husband to kill a nondisabled wife by starvation and dehydration; killing is not ordinarily considered a private family concern or a matter of choice. It is Ms. Schiavo's disability that makes her killing different in the eyes of the Florida courts. Because the state is overtly drawing lines based on disability, it has the burden under the ADA of justifying those lines. "

Posted elsewhere here on FR.
Terri's rights are being violated per ADA.
Greer is acting like a mad man drunk on his own power. I only hope there is some way of taking that power away from him.
So was Judas. I mean he was a Christian. :^) As for Republicans, there are plenty of proabortion Republicans.
PRO-ABORTION = KILL TERRI
He said it today during the State Senate debate deciding the bill that would save Terri's life. If she is murdered, he is complicitous.
They are under investigation for fraud ,many millions in improperly billing for non terminal patients that have been put there By Felos.Over 100 patients, that were diagnosed PVS by court. Getting federal funding illegally
LEO's are part of the Executive Branch, but Jeb has control only over State Police, not local police, who are under the county or city Exec branch. It may be different as far as the Attorney General is concerned.....
There is apparently a law in Florida that permitted Michael Schiavo to swear in court that Terri told him her wishes even if she didn't put it in writing. The law has been appealed up the line by others in the same position as the Schindler family. Even if he relinquished guardianship of her, her parents would not be able to get the judgement that was entered nullified.
Horrible law. It needs to be repealed.
Apparantly Greer feels the judicial branch of government is the sole authority regarding Constitutional government.
I guess we'll just have to see if the other 2 branches cede that power to them (at least in Florida).
At this point - I don't think changing guardianship would help anything.
The guardianship should have been changed the day the husband removed his wife from all rehab.
Actually good Jeb announced this because the whole world can see what a despicable human beings Greer and the rest of the scumbag husband's team really are.
