A state judge issued an emergency order Wednesday to keep the Department of Children & Families from taking any action that would reconnect Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube. George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo, asked Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer to issue the order Wednesday while the judge considers a request from DCF and Gov. Bush to take custody of Terri Schiavo.

That's exactly it IMO. This judge doesn't want to lose face. He would rather see a human being die than have his pathetic little ego bruised.
I am a Georgia poster and I am VERY close to driving down there. I am sick of sitting here listening to all these judicial pimps.

If you were being sarcastic, you didn't do anything to indicate that. People often wrongly claim that Hitler was Christian to denigrate Christianity, and it would not have been unusual for you to be doing that. If you weren't, then perhaps more clarity in writing would cause less confusion.

Like I said, there are abuses...but this case represents the good intent of the law and should be used IMHO.

Jeb was asked at the news conference, and said that himself (That DCF makes the call, not him). That being said, I'm sure he has at least powers of rational persuasion.
The "law" is about enforcement.
What entity is going to enforce the judiciaries interpretation of "the law"?
I don't need platitudes i want to know why that order would stand. A preemptive order has to be limited in scope and time.
Further,should emergency conditions that are not foreseen,for example a flood that order would obviously be negated.
Anybody specializes in administrative law.
