That's what it sounded like to me, too: despite the existing court order, if Greer denies the DCF petition, DCF will take her into protective custody and restore the feeding tube.

The DCF is the smarter way to go, with Jeb publicly backing the agency. Much, much tougher for the bad guys to make this about politics if a state agency grabs her.

Thanks. I guess that ends the FL legislature's role in this, then. Now, Jeb Bush has to decide if he really wants the DCF to take custody. If he does decide for it, it's going to create a heck of a storm in Florida. I suspect that an injunction is already complete from Greer, since he was informed of the plan.

Oh, I can do both, thanks. But, until the DCF does act, I maintain that they may well not act. And, if there is a court injunction against their action ahead of time, they certainly will not act.
