There's been a Bush or a Dole on the Republican ticket in every Presidential election since 1976.

Talk about a day late and a dollar short. This should have been done last week instead of punting it to the useless federal courts.

Last night I heard they were down to needing one vote so I am thinking the way that RAT snarled that it will be unconstitutional they just might have the votes. At least I am praying they have the votes to pass this bill that declares in a dispute with no signed document you cannot murder someone (my words)!

When on Fox they said the Governor was on his way, did they mean to the hospice or just to give his press conference/statement?

...and a Bush, a Dole, or a Nixon on the Republican ticket in every election since 1952, with the exception of 1964.

I think Jeb is going to run in 2008 and he needs to do something to stop this ghastly execution happening in his state. If Terri dies, that could cost him 2-4% of the conservative vote as people just decide to stay home and not vote for anyone. That translates into 1-2% of the popular vote and that could cost him the election in 2008. I'm afraid Jeb never took this Schiavo issue seriously enough and didn't push hard enough for a solution that saves her.

Wouldn't you think if Jebby could do anything he'd have already done it?

A good opening line would be, "We have just place Michael Schiavo under arrest for attempted murder and bigamy."

Unless he says "Florida National Guard troops are entering the hospice", I'm losing interest.

There's been a Bush or a Dole on the Republican ticket in every Presidential election since 1976. And a Bush, Dole or Nixon in all but one election since 1960.

Didn't the Florida legislature already pass something similar to what they are debating now? One of the Deathocrats claims the FSC will declare it unconstitutional before the ink is dry.
