Hello President Bush, Vice-President Cheney,
Here are a couple ideas to save Terri Schaivo.
1) I wonder what would happen if you went to visit Terri with the Secret Service in tow and decided to take her to a safe haven aboard Air Force One. I don't think any Florida law enforcement personnel (God Bless Them) would stand in your way. This may be the only remaining hope.
2) The Vatican has come out pretty strongly in opposition to her execution. I wonder if anyone over there has considered naming Terri a diplomat or special envoy. That might well kick the authority to order the reattachment of her feeding tube to the State Department.

I'm considering leaving FR as well. I knew that the courts were out of control and acts of Congress were irrelevant. But now I realize that presidential appointments are irrelevant as well. Today a Bush 41 appointee sided with death of an innocent in a 2-1 decision. The interest of judges appointed from either party is in defending the absolute power of the judiciary. The Schiavo decisions have been particularly in the face of the elected branches. The choice of judges seems to be between Democrat dictators for life and Republican dictators for life. With the possibility of change through elections foreclosed, the only avenue open for change is revolution. Since the Admins of Free Republic will and must delete seditious posts, discussion here seems rather pointless.
For every naysayer there's 10 people agitating to help her.
What about putting more pressure on those two holdouts in the FL state legislature? Anyone know who the two holdouts are?
So how in the heck are Felos and Schiavo fighting for Terri's "right" to be starved if Cranford, the doctor who testified for them in court,says she is not a person with rights?
Logically speaking, the only people who think Terri has rights are the same people who are thinking she is a person with the right to live.

Could Gov. Bush look up and find an unsolved murder from back when Terri was a teen and charge her with it. The supreme Court made it illegal to kill teen murders.
Could something like that save Terri?

Dear President Bush,
At this point we have seen a circuit court judge from the State of Florida disregard a subpeona from Congress.
Unless you act today to enforce that writ from Congress, Terri Schiavo will die.
She will be the first non terminal innocent, incapacitated person to be ordered to die by starvation and dehydration by a court of law.
That is against the Constitution, the will of Congress, and every moral code I know of.
I now have seen how the judiciary at all levels is more intent with protecting each other than with following the will of Congress,or extending mercy that is routinely given to mass murderers and rapists.
This cannot stand. You must act by Executive Order, today, to send the US Marshals, to protect a witness who is summoned to appear before Congress.
Let the judiciary rage. A wrong MUST be righted. And you have been given the power to do this.
Please act. Tomorrow will be too late.
Though this Atlanta appeals court has turned down the first request, it did not say it would turn down additional requests.

We are organizing a round the clock prayer vigil and demonstration ASAP. Those of you who are able please go ASAP to the 11th circuit court of Appeals. Many of you already know the news, Terri's hands are in the Federal Court system here in Atlanta as of this morning. Judge Wittemore decided to do nothing and dismissed the case, so it has now been brought before a 3 Judge panel here in Atlanta. This is in our back yard folks, please make every effort to join in this battle and be present. Spread the word and invite your clergy friends. PLease bring poster board for your own signs and markers, plastic wrap for your signs might be important, as it is supposed to rain today. Be sure to bring umbrellas, rain gear, chairs or lounge chairs (for those who can stay the night) and blankets, even a change of clothes and shoes, due to the rain. Listed below are directions if you are coming from the North side of town down 75.
On Sunday I was going to send out an email asking for folks to join us in Florida, then we got news that an overnight special session was going to be held in DC. and that Terri's feeding tube could be re-inserted as early as Monday morning. Well unfortunately the case was assigned to a Clinton Appointee Judge and he did nothing. Now it is here....

It looks like the left, the Clinton judiciary and the MSM will have their way and succeed in starving Terri to death. Her supporters should therefore make it a point to ensure that her death means something.
They should hold an hourly press conference "death watch" on the hospital steps and release updates on her medical condition as her heart beat falters, as her tongue swells, as she twitches and moans, as her eyes roll.
By the time they finish killing her, there will be tens of thousands at her funeral and the liberal politicians, the so called "death democrats", will be the fight of their political fight to hold their seats in the next election. Who knows, the clamor might even get the changes passed that will ensure that Bush gets his judicial nominations through the Senate.
