THE WASHINGTON TIMES

WACO, Texas -- President Bush holds a summit today with Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin at Baylor University, and although the sensitive issue of immigration is not on the official agenda, the White House expects it to appear. "That's not part of the meeting," said a senior administration official yesterday on the condition of anonymity. "But you obviously have a number of meetings [and a lunch at Mr. Bush's Crawford ranch] in which the leaders will be together. I'd imagine in the course of that time, topics of that kind will be raised by one leader or another," the official said. The one-day summit's stated purpose is to reach deals to expand free trade and to improve coordination on post-September 11 security concerns, including border control, an issue on which Mr. Bush's Republican allies in Congress think he has been too lax.

This is a repost of one of my posts, but applicable.

Seems Bill O'Reilly has a petition for Pres Bush asking him to uphold his sworn duty. Here is a copy of the email I sent to all friends and folks on my personal email list. I also sent a copy to the Pres and O'Reilly. Let's get O'Reilly MILLIONS of signatures! The old count of 6 million illegal immigration law breakers is now 11 Million - 6 million Mexican and the rest your other variety of illegals.<\p>

(E-Mail) As you are aware, our elected politicians, Republican and Democrat alike, fail to do anything about illegal aliens. Bill O'Reilly has a petition on his WWW site. The petition is not ant-immigrant. The petition is for presentation to President Bush, requesting him to do his sworn duty to protect America and enforce the law.

The object is to try to roll back some of the potential disasters for our country. If you are tired of over burdened social services, high taxes and other concerns, consider signing the petition. Irked by over crowded hospital emergency wards (you pay, you pay for them, but you wait anyway)? Think the "illegals" may affect the US Dollar's value and balance of payments? (Many of the 11 million illegals send money home,) Concerned about crime, drug importation, Terrorists etc... ?

If you agree with O'Reilly, please sign the petition and forward this e-mail to others. If you disagree, that is your prerogative and I apologize if I may have disturbed you.

All the Best and Thanks

Have already signed that O'Rielly petition among many others. This will not be addressed until "We the People" get off of our duffs and go to Washington in full force to bang on the doors of Congress and the White House, and DEMAND, (I can't believe I'm have to type this or that we should have to do this), DEMAND that our borders be protected and controlled.

The President and the US Congress will NOT Secure the Borders of the Country!!! Is this for real??!! GW and the Congress Best start being AMERICANS for a change!!

"This will not be addressed until "We the People" get off of our duffs and go to Washington..."

Some are doing one better and going to protect the borders themselves. I can't think of a better way to show that we are fed-up and will do what our elected officials don't have the balls to do!

I know that FR doesn't support this project, but having seen no proof of white supremicist ties to the Arizona April project myself, I'm still supporting it. A few college students with KKK signs doesn't constitute proof of anything except collegiate liberal bias to me!

Moderator - can you please delete my previous post? I just realized since FR doesn't support a particular project, I shouldn't have mentioned it here. And I can't find where to email the powers that be....sorry for the lapse in protocol.

Close the border!....Keep the Mexicans and terrorists on the south side!....Tell Mr. Foxito we are going to stop his exporting of Mexico's problem to the U.S.!...It's already to late anyway.....only a handful of U.S. politicians are trying to stem the tidal wave. It's seriously beyond a breaking point now.....the illegals already here are going to have as many kids as they can pump out. Our kids generation will have to deal with bankrupt government services.
