Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Make that DCF, not DFS.

I don't think that is likely. Terri will not speak anything more than a word here and there. She is truly in bad neurological shape. But she is not PVS and is not dead and doesn't deserve to be starved. But don't hold your breath waitiing for her to point fingers at MS. Wont happen.

The DOJ attorneys did not write the complaint clearly. If they did, I would be amazed. What the DOJ did was write a supporting brief based on the empty complaint, or something.

It terrifies me to see the opinion polls about the people in this country who swallow the "no quality o9f life so let's dehydrate them" mentality.

Boise is saying he thinks the Court of Appeals will order the feeding tube put back in....preserve life while the court process occurs.
Actually, maybe this is foolish to say given my recent acknowledgement our culture as a majority has embraced Death (before this case I would have argued differently), but if Terri were given a new trial with that tube re-inserted I do believe opinion would change. Mostly because the MSM cannot keep up a disinformation campaign indefinitely, and with Terri receiving nourishment, we'd be able to calmly bring the facts forward.
I say it may be foolish because I was proven to be wrong in my assumption about the hearts of our people toward Life. As it stands that opinion has been revised to state that as a majority we are inclined to embrace death, but still possess the ability to make the right choice if given the Truth which the American people have not received.
I have been heartened at those that have sided for life. For example, this thread has comments by Mayor Delay. Puts a lie to the media propaganda this is all an attempt by the Christian Right to assert moral authority over the masses. This is about Terri, and right and wrong. Life. Delay gets it.

If we were to ask the presiding judge who ruled to pull the feeding tube, how would he complete this sentence, do you think?

Unfortunately, he also said that he thinks they will eventually rule that Greer was right so we may have to go through this all over again.
