Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
IMO, you and the others in Florida who are out there at the hospice day in and day out....are guardian angels.
We will lift you up in prayer to give you the strength to carry on.

Ive read that after winning more than 1.4 million in medical malpractice suits, which were for Terri's rehabilation, Michael refused to spend money on rehabiliton. Yet, he proceded immidialty to try to remove her feeding tube. Is this true.?

Good, he is so ready to send someone else to heaven, I am sure lots of us would like to send him there! Too bad he would be banned at the Holy Gates and then the trap door would drop and his fat tubby body would plunge into the Lake of Fire waiting for him!

You're doing the right thing by praying for Michael and the rest of these evil people...it's what the Lord told us to do. I'm praying for them...then praying their evil plans will not be allowed to prosper, and that though they, themselves, may be saved and forgiven, that their actions still bear a heavy penalty. Just as Carla Faye Tucker was saved and forgiven, she still had to pay the penalty for her horrible crimes. Even as David was saved and forgiven, he still had to pay the penalty for Uriah's murder.

I hope the appeal to the SC is written to address the spirit and letter of the law just passed. I don't put any hopes in either the SC or the state of Florida.
The level of corruption and collusion occurring in the state of Florida is breathtaking. That an even number of people support it as those who oppose it is disturbing and sad.
The goal to prevent the starvation and dehydration of a disabled woman by her adulterous husband shouldn't even be debated in the United States. But here we are, in our 'enlightened' and 'progressive' society watching Terri being slowly tortured and killed.
It almost sounds facetious and blasphemous, but where would we be in removing MS as guardian had he put a pair of panties on Terri's head instead of removing her feeding tube?

I stand in support of Floriduh VOter. The comments are not unwarranted and she certainly has the right to exercise her opinion as provided for in the First Amendment. The Bushes have the power to save Terri and so far, neither have done so and have violated the public trust and their oath of office.
Lord, please have Jim King become so ill with diarrhea after he eats another large lunch today that he will be physically unable to go to the State Senate to vote against poor Terri.

Michael testified in court that he would use the money to take care of Terri for the rest of his life.
As soon as he got it, he put a DO NOT RESUSCITATE ORDER on her chart and ordered ALL THERAPY STOPPED, including antibiotics for life-threatening infections.
Overmedicating is an important issue. A lot of facilities do it.
My brother had a bad case of Gillian Barre. He was on respirator, a trach, and had a NG feeding tube for several weeks. He communicated by looking at a board and spelling out words. People would watch his eye position to see what letter he was looking at. There are ways to communicate when you can't speak.
