Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
How could I forget the long-suffering Mr. Crist. He intends to run for governor.
It's as if they are paralyzed and incapable of reacting.
When Greer first ignored those subpoenas, I thought surely there would be an immediate smackdown from the appropriate authority.
Nothing happened.
And nothing is still happening.
The silence from the Governor, the President, and the Congress is deafening.
I fear tonight not only for Terri, but for our nation.
I wonder if we have not already been conquered by the little men in the black robes.
We can send a half-million troops and liberate a nation of foreigners, but we cannot send fifty men to a hospice and liberate an innocent American citizen
and give her some water.
MR. PRESIDENT, WHY IS SOCIAL SECURITY MORE IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW
THAN TERRI SCHIAVO?
WHAT GOOD IS SOCIAL SECURITY IF WE ARE ENSLAVED?
"The denizens of evil have apparently worked long and hard over the years to get Florida set up to allow this. They've put people into place in the courts and legislatures and verious levels of government to enact their culture of death."
Kenth, it isn't just in Florida, it's everywhere. They've got a huge head start.
They are all trying not to offend anyone. The Judiciary has become a bunch of bullies. Even when you stand up to them they try to beat you up.
Time for Congress to pull a "Ralphie" (Christms Story) and beat the crap out of all the Scott Farkus's in black robes.
Judiciary wants us to cry uncle and then take over the country. And yes, they have yellow eyes.
My apologies to those who don't know the movie. :)
>>WHAT GOOD IS SOCIAL SECURITY IF WE ARE ENSLAVED?
Schiavo means slave.
Felos (felos de se) means deathwish.
Doesn't anyone sleep anymore? There's a light rain this morning. Why don't those lazy cops drag Terri outside so the rain can provide hydration for her? There are so many cops, it's unbelievable. The cop car hidden in the trees has the NAZI factory equipped german shepherd. HAVE YOU NOTICED THEY ALWAYS BRING THE DOGS AT NIGHT? I guess they think there will be a raid and they would have the dogs tear would be rescuers apart.
"how he just calmly said "Terri's become indigent" (or something like that) and LK just let it pass"
You're right! I heard that too!! He said it in an attitude of disdain, as if this was an awful thing Terri's done.
You somewhat lost me, but that's OK. I'm too tired to try and figure it out. :) I'm giving myself till 3 am (7 more minutes) and heading to bed.
Amen, Pajamajan
Let me put it this way. It's easy to forget Charlie Crist.
haha I thought of the rain too! Hoping maybe there was a hole in the ceiling.
Then I thought of the sprinkler system than might be built in.
Then I thought, what if there was an accident there, and everyone would have to be evacuated outside and to the hospital for evaluation. But we can't commit arson. God Himself would have to strike the building with lightning, have a fire, have no one hurt, and get Terri pulled out.
There's a lovely little vacation spot up in the White Mts. here in AZ. It's called Greer. It will never be the same for me.
Oh, he'll tell you alright....:))
[c'mon Wampus! post the link! the girl wants to go to sleep!]...:)
I'm calling in a giant load of tea to be dumped at the Crawford Ranch!!!!!
"Oh yeah...I forgot about those.
[then I want the p*ssing one]....>:-)"
OK...OK...now you've done it. I didn't know you when I read your story the other night. Liked you from what I read.
NOW..you've posted these little nuggets that bring a smile, even when there's nothing to smile about. Confirms my first impression.
University of MD? Takoma Park?
I'm heading back this summer to Rockville for my HS class reunion (which I'm in charge of, oy vey.)

It is the Sense of Congress that the 109th Congress should consider policies regarding the status and legal rights of incapacitated individuals who are incapable of making decisions concerning the provision, withholding, or withdrawal of foods, fluid, or medical care.
You paint an absolutely incredible picture.
Armed police with guns and dogs surrounding a place where a starving woman lies so as not to allow anyone to put a drop of water to her lips or rescue her.
That is one of the scariest things I have ever written.
College Park..yea, that's what I meant. My sister's a Terp.
