[history]
Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

Why didn't DeLay and Frist simply add a line to the new law that the tube be inserted while the new trials take place? Why? It makes no sense.

en banc, I learned form fellow freepers is the whole 11th circuit court, not just three of the judges.

Why is the Judicial branch hell bent on killing this poor girl? Are we merely witnessing a pissing match? [expletive deleted]!!!

"there are states (South Dakota is one of them) where the state will take care of people in need (food, clothing, medical care) but then the state will go after family members if there was means for the family to pay for it and they didn't (like MS)."
I believe that is the way to go.
Too many people purposely abandon their responsibilities because they know the state will pick up THEIR tab. It encourages more irresponsibility. It should NOT be the state that cares for you except in extreme situations. Ideally the church should be the most active in those situations but they too are feeding on the trough.
I don't agree with this "faith" based initiative. I also don't want to fund Islam but I'd have to since that is a "faith" too. That's an example where the state should NOT fund the faith and keep it separate.

Why won't the media quote his testimony from the lawsuit trial where MS said he wanted to "take Terri home" to care for her.
The media (with the exception of FOX) gets some of the blame for this sad state of affairs. They have been sloppy, lazy, and useless as usual. They have people thinking Terri is terminally ill, or on life support machines, and that she's in a coma completely unresponsive. No wonder the polls come out the way they do.
They've portrayed her husband as loving and her agonizing parents as the bad guys because they want their daughter to live! How efn sick.
The family is forced to be searched and watched by the cops because, God forbid, that they should bring an ice cube of a few drops of water for Terri's mouth. Sick mother efers! I keep thinking I'm going to wake up from this nightmare.
But as long as were talking about questions- Here's one:
Why, when Terri was awarded money for her care, and while her "husband" had a job, bought a house, a new car, or was it 2 new cars (his and hers) , lived with and supported his hussy and his 2 children by her, was Terri declared indigent and placed on Medicaide to cover her expenses?
oh that's right, judge Greer allowed for Terri's therapy funds to be spent on legal fee's to have her killed, and "judge" Greer said it was OK to have Terri placed on medicaide, after most of her funds were put into Felo's pockets. nope, nothing to see here-mive along... ( this is just one of hundreds of suspicious rulings by his -royal blindness- Greer).
And not a single, cold-blooded, hard-hearted, chikensh*t judge has an ounce of compassion, decency, or sense of justice, to stop this cruel execution taking place right in front of us.
(You judges are worse than maggots.)
A judge is nothing but a lawyer in a dress.
(no offense to any Freeper lawyers of judges)

Judicial murder. God have mercy on this country.

My MIL is like that, she is slowly coming around to my mothers POV. My husband has become more anti-doctor than I am since he met my mother (and I'm pretty bad; my attitude is PROVE IT!)
