Rush played this. Here it is for people who haven't heard it.
Starvation is actually a horrible way to die. This Schiavo case is not the first time someone in her position has been starved to death in this manner. Death is slow and filled with convusions. Incredibly horrible and painful.
Still, even if it were "painless" it would still be starving to death.
Why can they not use honest accurate language?

Technically, she'll die of dehydration before she dies of starvation.

KING: Could anyone in that room feed her, spoon feed her? SCHIAVO: No, they cannot.
KING: Because she can't swallow?
SCHIAVO: No, she can she cannot swallow at all.
Cause and effect seem just a teensy bit reversed, here. Of course she can't swallow when everyone is forbidden to give her food.

If this is so painless, why not have the folks on deathrow die in this manner? It is a great cost-cutting measure. And the person can just drift off peacefully.

Wonderful, lets remove all food and water from Scott Peterson, suspend his Habeas rights and tell the ACLU that we are being compassionate conservatives.

I'm surprised no one has put up anything on the Nightline coverage. There were some doozies last night. This is my memory. A transcript maybe needed to verify. George S. was interviewing Terri's state appointed guardian.
When asked about the infidelity, the response:
"You can love other people. I love my mother and my wife."

We understand the call will be directed to George Felos, as per Michael's request. He wants it that way.
Yeah, I'll just bet he would not want to hear for himself what callers had to say.
He knows what he is, he knows what he's doing, and I'd like to think he knows where he'll wind up in the end. His suffering will last longer that Terri's

Evil must eventually resort to lying because truth doesn't serve evil. Now watch how many try to dissemble the words spoken on Evil's behalf ... it is chilling to witness these events in light of Revelations.

No, because THE COURT EXPLICITY FORBADE ANYONE FROM FEEDING HER. Think of it: we have a court order barring people from giving food and water to a starving woman. Ghoulish.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: if these people are so gosh-darned sure that Terri is already dead, what is the harm in feeding her? Why should they care if someone wants to put food into what they consider to be a corpse?

"she's not dying of starvation. This is a natural, painless death."
Then why remove the feeding tube? If this is natural, why do anything at all? And Michael knows this "natural" process is painless because.....?
And of course the astute and unbiased Larry King has no followup question. Reality t.v. at it's finest. No credibility whatsoever.
