At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!

Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!

None of those pictures are those of a woman in a coma or a PVS. Anyone who tells you you don't understand what a PVS is you tell 'em they've moved the goal posts and redefined PVS for their own purposes. A PVS just frickin' lays there. It's like a coma with no chance of recovery. Frankly, I tend not to believe a dr. who says "no chance of recovery" anyway, they're probably just trying to clear the bed. My mother had no chance of recovery four or five times before the real thing. They kept telling her she had to sign a DNR. She kept telling them to go screw themselves. Then they would retaliate. It was a big f'n mess.

From what I have read, technically this is true. However, apparently he was nominated by a congressman friend of his, who has since asked him to stop using the "Nobel Prize Nominee" moniker.

I believe you're right about that. Judge Greer made a legal decision that Dr. Hammesfahr wasn't credible, which then got posted on quackwatch.com and maybe a few other places. Some Felos-friendly doctors in Florida filed complaints against Dr. Hammesfahr. The complaints were thoroughly investigated by the Florida Dept of Health, as well as by Medicare, and found to be completely without merit.

Rush called the nurse who appeared on Fox and Friends this morning "Carol" when her name is Carla.

He then went on to say that what she said on tv was exactly what her affidavit stated. That is not correct. She appears to have embellished her insulin charges since signing the affidavit.

Isn't there a story in the Bible (forgive me if there isn't,I am a Christian but sorta Bible ignorant) about two women fighting over a child---each claiming they are the mother---

The "king" or whoever said that the only way to solve it would be to cut the baby in half- half for each---when one woman yelled out NO and said not to do that, that she would rather let the other woman have the baby, than to kill the baby, the "king" said that he KNEW that she was the true mother because only the TRUE mother would give up the baby rather than see it harmed...

If I am misremembering, forgive me, but whenever I try to find a reason that MS would not just give up and let Terri live with her parents, I have this "story" run through my brain--

There is just way too much evidence that MS does NOT love Terri---our President should take the part of the "king" and just do what it takes!!!

Having personal experience with LOTS of neurologists this DOESN'T discredit him AT ALL!! I don't have a lot of respect for many people in the "medical community." Which is apparently what people are using to say this doctor is discredited.

I heard Hammesfahr on Hannity yesterday and saw him on cable last night. He was articulate, sharp and outlined his position on Terri Schiavo extremely well.

The criticism against him is completely unfounded and for the purpose of discrediting a doctor who thinks Terri should LIVE!!!!

The pictures and evidence have been around a long time. That is one thing that makes me so upset over this case. I don't understand how this evidence was overlooked. There is even a nurse who testified that Michael tried to kill her with an Insulin shot-Rush just played the quote from the nurse.

I just Rush wouldn't sensationalize the issue with claims that Mr. Schiavo tried to poison his wife, Mrs. Schiavo can swallow on her own, etc.

Oh, do you know for a fact she CAN'T swallow on her own? THere are several nurses who say she can-and they have seen her and cared for her.

I do agree that there are other issues here, but the fact that Michael is putting forth the idea that she is in a "vegetable state" and she isn't-seems pretty important to me!
