At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!
Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!
The poster is being polite and courteous and there is no reason for hostile accusations about spewing.
She was learning to walk not long after the incident that made her this way..and she was eating and swallowing just fine until about 7 years ago when they put the feeding tube in to save the staff time in feeding her.

There is feasibility and value in swallowing tests and swallowing therapy being administered if the parties agree in advance as to how the results of these tests will be used with respect to the decision about Theresa’s future.
Judge Greer ordered that no swallowing test could be performed.
I saw the nurse (part of the interview)on FNC. My questions: did she chart Terri's hypoglycemia & the visit by her husband? why didn't she notify police - that's attempted murder, I believe!

I agree Petah is a horse's ass, but the recording the family did that you heard was taken very shortly after the tube was removed so she could hardly be in pain due thirst or starvation at that point, at least due to the removal of the tube.

I heard her say she did report it to the police and her supervisor. She then got fired.
someone posted the entire testimory of the RN last nite. I could swear she talked about the insulin incident in it. Wasn't it the last straw that made her call the parents and the police?
Rush has been great on this. My only complaint is that he's self-admittedly not as informed as he could be about the case's history (although it's apparent he's learning as day to day discussion involves more and more detail), but he's been on Terri's side throughout, and of course, argues the political aspects of it very well as usual.
Death was by starvation!
After about a week or longer, as I recall, a German doctor checked and he was still alive. After another visit, he relented and gave him a death injection. It was a horrendous ordeal.
Upshot. The priest was canonized by the Vatican as it was a miracle that he suffered so long.

I've been a contributor to hospice several times before.
I actually believe that support and comfort to people dying is very important but
do to this case I can't ethically contribute any more.
I think they are going to get a letter from me about why they have lost my support.
I only wish Rush would of gotten involved, much earlier.

I'm very precise in my language when I'm making a point and I always back it up when I am able to document it, as I did here.
