Actually, MRS could no longer stop her execution if he had a change of heart. Powerful and popular George W. Greer said it is "the law of the court that she must die!"

My questions:
If Terri's fate is now sealed and she dies...do you think peoples' reaction with be to say, "oh well" and walk away...or do you think there will be enough of a public outcry to keep this in the news a while longer?
Do you think Michael Schiavo will emerge smelling like a rose or become a social pariah?
Do you think we'll ever know the total truth about Terri? About Michael? About the judges/lawyers/doctors/police involved? If so, how will the truth be revealed?

I'm aware of just a little of what you are saying. I had a close friend in statewide law enforcement, scary what goes on.

>>This is all a result of activist judges, who selectively ignore laws or make some up themselves, or interpret them in ways that aren't consistent with the laws -- all, just to push their own agenda.<<
This is true. That is why I was a bit shocked to come on FR and see a lot of people saying this was a state issue and the congress should stay out of it.
These same people wanting Terry dead only so they can protect "States rights" will be back on here complaining when a state court somewhere over rules a state legislature somewhere on stopping illegal immigration like in Arizona or banning gay marriage like in Massachusetts.
We will hear them all whining, "The courts are out of control, the congress needs to do something"..blah blah blah.
I guess they seem to forget that this case would not be in the Federal courts right now if the Florida Supreme Court did not overturn the law passed to let Terry live, passed by ELECTED STATE LEGISLATORS.

He still is a pig scum goon. But thanks for the input. Shows mere mortal men can make big time mistakes.

Will you be fooled by Hillary when she changes her colors to appeal to those red staters? Why would you be fooled by Davis who is just as amoral as the Clintons. Look at what he defended for 8 yrs. and tell me this guy has had a change of heart. Yeah, Hillary and Bill too.

Whatever back - lots of skewed truth/urban mythology by the pro-Terri parent's side on this - Husband did not consider allowing her body to expire until 7 or so years later.

I see you have that in quotes..."it is the law of the court, that she must die."
Did he really say that???????
Unbelievable.

This is no different than a crazy man shooting someone in cold blood and getting away with it because no one will put him in jail.
Hey! that never happens here!!
OJ is looking for the "real killers" -- they might be hiding on any California golf course!

Anyone with any word at all on the process regarding the appeal with the 11th Circuit? It was floated around FReep that they were reviewing at "9am." I know it's been filed but is there any progress or word at all?

Some may imply he would want her to die so he can marry the women he has lived with for 10 or so years. No need to for anyone to imply that
Michael said that
"I want to get on with my life, and Terry would want me to as well"

"Terri's "husband" has already succeeded in getting a ruling from Judge Greer that she is to be cremated immediately no autopsy. It seems the world has gone mad!"
After listening to the nurse this morning talk about her affidavit on Fox News that Terri's husband injected her with insulin and tried to kill her and I question why didn't the police investigate? Yet, we sit and watch this girl in front of us being killed and because she is handicapped the media, physicians and liberals do not feel her life has value or worth. They are so prejudice against anyone who they are uncomfortable with, they fight to kill her. They that want her to die are carrying the heart of Michael.
This morning, I feel like I am in Nazi Germany watching the infirmed and handicapped being carried off to the gas chamber. Will someone in 50 years cry out to the barbarism of this generation?
I reflect on Proverbs 24: 11-12. God pretty much lets us know what He feels our responsibility is to Terri and all handicapped people who are silenced and can't speak for themselves :
""Rescue those being led away to death;
hold back those staggering toward slaughter.
If you say, "But we knew nothing about this,"
does not He who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not He who guards your life know it?
Will He not repay each person according to what he has done?"

"Of course, I am speaking as a layman, not a lawyer."
This layman agrees with what you say. It was supposed to be de nevo (sp) (e.g., all new evidence) and it doesn't appear he did that. There were no witnesses, nothing but a 2 hour hearing - disgusting.

No idea.
He's hiding and probably gloating with excitement over the death of that *itch.
I am SOOO angry and frustrated on how this is turning out.

I just had to interject here.. not about the Schiavo case (which I don't want to discuss). But about her husband.. just heard some clips of the guy from Larry King last night.. geez this guy is about as subtle as a speeding train running you over.
"You can't regrow a brain, Larry".
Come on dude.. a little subtlety!
