The one potential bright consequence of this horrid situation is that the dark secret of murdering the handicapped has been brought into the light.
Every American needs to be made aware of what is happening in the name of 'medicine'......and every person of conscience needs to be in prayer for the soul of this nation.
This whole issues cries out for common sense and decency...in the absence of it, we are going to move along to something much worse.
I pray that Terri can yet be saved. There is a God in Heaven, and it is He who ultimately governs in the affairs of man. Millions of faithful are prayiong and working for Terri's life...I pray those efforts will not go unanswered in the affirmative.

I THINK, (not sure) that President Bush could regain his Presidential Manhood by issuing an Executive Order stopping all withholding of nutrition as a means of causing death. "Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Pretty cool" as Begala said during Clinton's time. I don't know if it would stick, and I don't think it looks like he's going to do it, but I think he could.

Such an executive order would need to be based on some law authorizing him to make such a ruling. I'm not aware of the existence of any such law.
If a PET scan showed that she was in PVS, would you relent and let her die regardless of what you think of her slimeball husband?
Personally I think more public exposure of the information would have been of public benefit.

It think its pretty apparent the MSM (including FNC generally) is just parrotting the FL SC decision which just rubber stamped judge Greer. They are not providing "balance". I have not seen a FNC interview with a doctor who says the brain is not a liquid or that it even matters.

President Bush has stood for a culture of life like NO previous President ever has. And he put himself on the line when he came back to Washington to sign the bill by Congress.
Put the blame where it belongs here. The judiary is run amok. The balance of power is completely out of whack. Stop castigating the President for this. He is doing what he can to save this woman's life, within the law.
