Terri's alive. She's being starved by the judiciary of the State of Florida, when her parents want to take care of her, get her therapy, and get her out of the prison her husband has kept her in for over a decade.

The information coming out keeps getting more questionable. Why hasn't Terri received an esophageal manometry (swallowing) test since 1992? Is it because the esophagus muscles were determined to be dysfunctional, or because it was more convenient to "feed" her without the help of staff.
The only thing I am certain about is that nothing is certain in this case. I would think so many unanswered questions and controversy would warrant re-insertion of the feeding tube until the facts can be determined.
I only hope that Terri doesn't think she's being tortured. This breaks my heart.
