Just heard on Fox....so sad.
Neighbor, I agree. This is a call to arms, to reign in a corrupt, arrogant, and unaccountable Judiciary. God Almighty, be my Judge-- so long as I draw breath, I will work to fix this problem.
As a show of respect for the deeply felt upset of your fellow "friends".
Surely you can wait a day before your champion this woman's death?
Is that asking too much of you?
His brother is a "very successful personal injury lawyer"...
That's all I needed to hear...
It would take evidence or the case gets thrown out. Real hardcore evidence. Not lies and distortions and heresay propagated on Internet forums
The constitution clearly gives congress the right to determine the jurisdiction of federal courts. They did just that in this case. So, being that the change of venue from state to federal court was clearly constitutional, how can a complete review of the case by the federal court absent the imminent threat of Terri dying while the court ponders be unconstitutional?
That's just it. Those who take Michael Shiavo's word as gospel need to give it a rest. He may very well be telling the truth, but WHAT IF? is a good question to ask where he is concerned. WHAT IF he is NOT and has NOT been telling the truth about any of it? - They are not even treating her as humanely as they treat an animal. They and he (Shiavo) have been willing to risk that she feels pain and have removed her food and water so it will take DAYS for her to die. WHAT IF she does feel pain? WHAT IF Shiavo is a pathological liar? WHAT IF Terri were injured in some way which caused this whole thing? WHAT IF Terri could be rehabilitated by her parents? Why is Shiavo in a common law marriage with another woman if he is so "in love" with Terri? Lord have mercy, with animals they at least get it over with quick.
Odd that your motto from your home page is
Motto: "Evil triumphs when good men do nothing."
Maybe you ought to rethink that.
It is early in the morning...
One will find some interesting stuff researching Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, Playboy and Nazi Germany.
And one wonders where our society went wrong...
You mean block the wish of a husband to kill his wife? When in doubt, err on the side of death, eh? Somebody smiles at your philosophy, and it isn't God.
The irony between this and abortion is incredible. Until society as a whole celebrates and values all life, this culture of death will continue to flourish- unwittingly by those who believe letting a person starve to death is right.
We should protect all life, from the smallest form of a child, to those who cannot protect themselves. And this includes Terri.
Since FL has decided it's ok to starve whomever they want, why would seniors be so stupid as to move there? I don't want to ever go near the place.

At this point, Terri's uninvestigated broken bones should be checked out. Her family described these last night on Hannity and Combs..I understand her "ex" is going to have her cremated..This, at least should not be allowed just in case further investigation is necessary at some point.
This is murder by judiciary.
Very well said.
I agree completely.
States' rights have been a loser de facto since Madison, and de jure since Lincoln. To pretend otherwise is an affectation by people who are either hopeful or fearful of rulings which either allow or disallow their illusions.
You want a non-sequitur? Try "freedom." You can do the happy dance this morning because your "states' rights team" apparently gets to euthanize a woman without remorse, but you'll likely be less celebratory when you finally do figure out that the other two branches of government have become vestigial tails. Lawyers - robed or otherwise - now have all the rights-- the states' and yours.
Party on, spider. Hope you've stocked up on something to keep the Greers and the Whittemores at bay.
