Sorry about your family's experience. You are right about slippery slope. This denial of food and water is an easy way for doctors, owners of hospices, etc. to get "rid" of patients without actually killing them by injection. I heard a geriatric specialist actually admit that he does this in his practice cause if he injected patients, he could be accused of murder while starvation is just allowing them to die.

No, I mean the previously documented slippery slope that went from forced sterilizations to mercy killings to mass killings of mentally incapacitated people.
It's easy to understand. Every moment they delayed it is another moment closer to death for Terri. As death-worshippers, they are obliged to do what they can to sow destruction.

There's been a more Libertarian branch of the Republican party for years. Just as there is a populist wing, a Rockefeller Republican wing, a pro-life wing, etc. etc. etc. Remember, the big tent.
