I don't know if Terri was given an IV bearing fluids prior to having her feeding tube re-inserted the last time it happened. I would imagine though that they'll get liquids into her system as soon as possible. I'm not sure I'd trust anyone at the hospice to give Terri an IV.
I want to see Terri out of that place ASAP and into a place of safety.

It's not my first choice of dispatch either. But what I don't support is government sanctioned murder, either by active advocacy or by Pilate wannabees who dismissively say it's no one else's business. If I'm ever dependent solely on food/water, my husband has instructions that he'd better dam well not shut it down. If food and water were denied you or me, we'd die too. That makes it everyone's concern.
I'm more against killing this woman than I am a fetus. She's born and developed (not a requirement for life, but it seems more meaningful to me).

It was a play on words...not 'for life' life a monarch, but 'for life' as in being on the side of life.
I believe it is one of them. You'll have to ask a Jewish expert. I've never read it, am not Jewish, and respect their religious beliefs even though they do not totally align with my personal beliefs.
Since it is within the authority of congress to establish the jurisdiction of the courts, they can do so as narrowly as is necessary to accomplish their purpose. Their purpose in this instance was to ensure Terri Schiavo due process before her death penalty takes her life.
To accomplish this they had to compromise with the Senate which wanted a specific rather than a general bill.
Don't be too sure; they were plenty clumsy enough to abridge the First Amendment. Of course, they may have done that on purpose; Big Government just hates opposition.

Sec. 2. The foregoing exemption shall apply only to grounds for exclusion of which the Department of State or Department of Justice had knowledge prior to the enactment of this Act.

Didn't she supposedly have a heart attack due to anorexia or bullemia? Michael probably hopes it will happen again due to lack of electrolytes, potassium, etc.
The longer this takes, higher the chance of something happening to her kidneys, heart, etc. This is so cruel.

Yeah I object to CFR too. The Bushies are too concerned about keeping McCain on their side for short term political benefits.
Placing the case in the Federal system will also open the door to another very, very loooong appeal process if a Judge rules against Terri. So at the very least it gives Terri probably at least a few more years now.
In any case, here's hoping that sanity and mercy defeats selfishness and cruelty.
