Oh, goodness, another Fla. court? What makes anyone think this court will be any different than all the other Fla. courts we are so familiar with, unfortunately?

Am I the only one uncomfortable with the idea of a law written for one person?

No, you are not the only one upset by congressional intervention. I am pleased and think they had a duty to do so.

Wasn't Megan's Law about one person? I don't know if that was federal or a state law.

It really isn't just about only one person ultimately, as others could be affected by the precedent set.

I'm sure if researchers dug deeply enough, there have been actions taken in the past initiated on behalf of one person.

All through American history there have been special laws written to benefit one person. Nothing strange in this.

"I like and respect President Bush but no way, no how and no body will ever be President for Life! "

I think it may have just been a play on words.

Um, why isn't this an unconstitutional Bill of Attainder?

Because a bill of antainder is a criminal conviction of an individual through a legislative act.

Courts decide cases not just according to common law but according to laws promulgated by legislators and signed by executives.

Every statute that adjusts the laws defining guardianship is an act of a legislature in the first instance.

Why is it so many people can't understand what that poster meant?

It's a play on words--president FOR life. As in supporting life.

Get it?

"Face it ---- The Lord is crazy about Terri !!!"

Yes, he is.

On we go now to our next battle - the federal judge.

We won't stop until we have won over the culture of death and hamstrung its supports. It's simple, folks, this is a battle between good and evil.

There is a specific definition of what a Bill of Attainder is, this doesn't apply.

The Court doesn't sentence her to death.

But it is constitutional because we the people of this great Christian nation say so.

I doubt they will do anything until a court orders the re-insertion of the tube since Congress can't order that to happen.

Does anyone know what judge this case might go to and what that judge's reputation is?
