I wrote a post hours ago suggesting that Greer and the clintoid judge may have been in telephone contact all morning. Perhaps Greer's presence was intended to remind the judge of "their agreement" on the phone.

he did? where did he sit? Did Greer leave with everyone else or did he hang back in the courtroom after the hearing?

It is definately possible. But, I am going to call the Fed Courthouse and ask them to confirm or not confirm if George Greer was granted and audience/visit with Whittemore BEFORE the hearing.

Nothing can be done in Atlanta until the lower court (Whittemore) makes a ruling that can be appealed by either party to this case.

I also heard that any appeals in Atlanta would be heard by a panel of three judges.

I talked to an answer machine, and left my name and ph # & message to please rehydrate Terri while he examined to case.
I don't expect them to call back.

I don't. I simply speak in a manner of faith BELIEVING that He will do something.

I don't know the legalities, but if Bush is contemplating it, here is why I doubt he would go ahead. There would be bloodshed there, I really believe. Armed men are everywhere and ready to resist any effort to save Terri. They are on and off duty police from Pinellas city and county. They are even posted just outside of and even inside Terri's room. Bush would worry that people would die, people besides Terri. Not only that, but he probably thinks the Dems would start impeachment proceedings immediately and turn this country into turmoil. And I think they would, too. Not that they would succeed but that the country would be in turmoil.

And what is expected if Terri dies?

fv says in her opinion he is stalling for time. I think she took that and the rest of his stuff with a grain of salt. she wishes oh how she wishes terri would be taken into protective custody. He could be sending mixed signals, to confuse everyone on both sides, but especially Gibbs, the FL Senate, Jeb and the President...hinting at a false hope while stalling and stalling. That way perhaps nobody else will do anything to save Terri because they look for a ray of hope in something like that which the judge asked.

Despair, though, has a technical meaning like adoration has, that the everyday meaning doesn't: Despair is the voluntary and complete abandonment of all hope of saving one's soul and of having the means required for that end.

We as a group are starting to show a lot of stress, short sleep, a lot of frustration, angst, grief, reaching the point thinking that we can do more, amongst the other activist stuff.

We have fought and are fighting a good fight. Time to take a good deep breath and know we haven't let Terri down, that God knows what he is doing, there is stuff going on behind the scenes we may never know about, and there are forces beyond the ones our eyes can see also involved.

Lord, keep us ALL in the palm of your hand.

Not that long ago there would barely have been nine Republicans in the entire FL Senate. A lot of Democrats switched parties when it became fashionable to be GOP in FL. And these Democrats brought non-conservative views with them.

I think I could handle it if I could just blink yes or no answers. But, to be utterly dependent and unable to communicate would be a living nightmare for me. To be unaware and have people messing with my private body would be almost as bad.

How about having someone deliberately trying to stifle any efforts you make at communication?

Shep Smith was absolutely AWFUL. I don't think he had a single person on who said anything good about Terri.

I've suspected for a while that Shep is on Felos' side.
