I don't understand why anyone would depend on Fox News anyway. I never watch the channel. All I watch on Fox is America's Most Wanted. Don't reward them with your viewership, particularly in the bias shown against Terri. There is to me no doubt that this clintoid judge made up his mind without "reading" anything given to him this morning.

No fair!

I just checked the court website and the only thing listed there is the announcement of the hearing...no results.

I agree. It's just sad that we can see it happening but can't move him to act faster.

If this judge won't save Terri, the case will go immediately to a federal appeals court. In addition, I suspect that Jeb Bush is giving this until a certain cut-off date and time, after which he will find a way to take Terri into protective custody. Pray, freepers, even as you read this, pray.

I would say "no". Judges in most courts in the nation are chosen by lot for cases.....or chosen in a rotation system.

So, a Federal Court Judge can rule that a law passed by congress and signed by President Bush is unconstitutional? I thought that was what the Supremes did.

A circuit judge can spit on congressional subpoenas and now this?

The problem for Michael is that he had decided (maybe before Terri's accident) that he wanted her to just die. He went on with his life, engaged, had two children, melted down her wedding ring and had it turned into a new ring for himself, killed her cats, got rid of everything that reminded him of her.
PROBLEM WAS, he didn't expect the 'termination' to take this long, and he never had any idea he would have the MSM and THOUSANDS on the internet watching his every move and investigating the manner in which he pursued her death, and took her rehab/personal care money.

So, now he has been forced to attempt to explain these CONTRADICTIONS and his rationalizing is almost humorous.

He could have divorced her long ago, allowed her parents to deal with things, and been off the hook.

No one would have had any reason to complain about him taking that course of action, and I am reasonably sure her parents would not have objected.

BUT, he hung on (ostensibly because of his concerns for Terri and her wishes and his concern to remain FAITHFUL (oh, come on MICHAEL, you can't be serious!) to her wishes.

I bet her first wish was DONT KILL ME.

I bet one of them was I WANT FOOD AND WATER until I DIE NATURALLY.

I bet one of them was TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY CATS.

Did he honor any one of those wishes?

We know he didn't. So, ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS.

I think I read earlier today that the judge was chosen at random by a computer.

Yes, the lowest federal judge can strike this down. Then the plaintiffs have to appeal to the circuit court. Time is not on the side of Terri or justice. If Trent Lott had just blocked this appointment in 2000!

Pray for armed men to the rescue. So the "Judges" of our time have required -- that force of arms is required. Clinton and Reno used it to kidnap the boy. It can be done under some lawful order -- of the executive.
