I wanna sing a very non-PC song. So...
Listen up you Boomers, 'Nam vets, ex flower children and reformed Weathermen out there!
I know you know the tune. Everybody sing along!
People want to put us down
(talkin' 'bout my euthanasia)
Just because we've b-b-been around
(talkin' 'bout my euthanasia)
They'll starve us out in the c-c-c-cold
(talkin' 'bout my euthanasia)
'cause we won't d-d-die before we get old
(talkin' 'bout my euthanasia)
They want euthanasia! They want euthanasia, baby!
We're not gonna f-f-f-f-f-f-fade away!
(they won't get no euthanasia)
Don't care what S-Singer and S-Soros s-s-s-say!
(they won't get no euthanasia)
We'll take back our great great nation!
(they won't get no euthanasia)
And they won't get no euthanasia!
(they won't get no euthanasia)
No euthanasia! No euthanasia, baby!
Parody, with apologies and gratitude to the world's greatest rocker.

I think part of Terri's reason is to bear witness to a severely corrupt system that needs repair. Her job won't be done until the system is fixed.Me too. God bless her. She has been through hell on earth several times now.

Why cut off her arms???? My interpretation is that Michael was hoping the parents would fall for a childish trick where a child, when told he can have the broken cookies, sees to it that lots of cookies end up broken.
If they agreed that Terri should be killed if it were ever necessary to amputate a leg, Terri's leg would have somehow gotten scratched and never treated. Oops, so sorry about that, but since you agreed it would be better for her to die than to have her leg amputated...

A couple of years ago I emailed Terri's dad - something to the effect that if I was in his shoes, I'd be a whole lot nastier than he's been.
Surprisingly he answered back and said he could understand my anger, but that he was sure God was in control and they would wait patiently for the outcome. What class!

He twisted her parent's words from another interview they did.
It was in response to a hypothetical question about what they would do if Terri ever developed gangrene in her limbs and her life was threatened.
Would they just let her die, or if amputation was necessary to save her life, would they do that?
Well, listen to last week's interview. He sounds almost hysterical insisting that Terri's parents would keep her alive in any and all circumstances, no matter what!
He twists the truth into a lie!

IN THE CIRCUIT COURT IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA CASE NO. 92-939-15
EXCERPT OF JURY TRIAL - TESTIMONY OF MICHAEL RICHARD SCHIAVO
(November 5, 1992)
page 26
Q. Why did you want to learn to be a nurse?
page 27
A. Because I enjoy it and I want to learn more how to take
care of Terry.
Q. You're a young man. Your life is ahead of you. Your
future is beyond you. Up the road, when you look up
the road, what do you see for yourself?
A. I see myself hopefully finishing school and taking care
of my wife.
Q. Where do you want to take care of your wife?
A. I want to bring my wife home.
Q. If you had the resources available to you, if you had
the equipment and the people, would you do that?
A. Yes, I would, in a heartbeat.
Q. How do you feel about being married to Terry now?
A. I feel wonderful. She's my life and I wouldn't trade
her for the world. I believe in my -- I believe in my
wedding vows.
Q. What do you mean? You want to take a minute?
A. Yeah.
MR. WOODWORTH: If the Court would let us take a minute.
Q. (BY MR. WOODWORTH:) You okay?
A. Yeah. I'm sorry.
Q. Have -- you said you believe in your wedding vows, what
do you mean by that?
A. I believe in the vows that I took with my wife,
page 28
through sickness, in health, for richer or poorer. I
married my wife because I love her and I want to spend
the rest of my life with her. I'm going to do that.

Didn't the Schindlers do a Larry King show of their own around the same time? I suppose CNN will show that next, they will show both sides, right? [/sarcasm]

Surprisingly he answered back and said he could understand my anger, but that he was sure God was in control and they would wait patiently for the outcome. What class!I can't buy that when it's your own kid whose life is threatened. I'm sure I would resort to anything, and any parent who wouldn't is either rotten or weak.
