I agree with and respect your passion on this issue. However, I can understand those who believe she is brain-dead and that the husband is the one who has the legal right to make the decision.
Although it does not make the news 99% of the time - this is not an unheard of condition. there are many families who have made this difficult choice and they are not motivated by evil, greed, or fear. The difference in this case is that the parents and the husband are at odds. If they weren't, this story would not have made the news and Terri would be dead.
With this being the case, I can understand people taking the position that the government should not be involved. I don't believe these people are evil.
Hating each other over issues where there really can be legitimate disagreement is not right! Keep the passion and fight for the cause - just don't condemn those who disagree with you!

You have no argument, really, except a worthless sanctimony which reveals you to be a person of inferior chracter.

Just re-read your post. I take that comment back, sorry about that.

I can understand those who believe she is brain-dead... Have you viewed any of the video tape clips of her responding to her environment? Even casual observation from a layman confirms she is not "brain dead".

" However, I can understand those who believe ............ that the husband is the one who has the legal right to make the decision." But he's in an active and Persistant State of Bigamy (PSB). If he had taken 100 other wives, would he still hold absolute veto power over the unanimous view of the rest of her family? At which point does abandonment take effect? He's been living with another woman for 7 years and fathering children.
