But SHE is not gettng any say...only Michael her "husband." There is no evidence she said this, only his "word." Under the circumstances that he is living with another woman and has kids by her, he should be REMOVED as her guardian. And how about we ASK TERRI?
It doesn't matter what we think about Michael as guardian. All that matters is that it was found and upheld on appeal that there was clear and convincing evidence that this is what she wanted.
If we don't like that standard, we have to get the florida courts to change their law to not consider oral statements to be indicative of our wishes.
Here is a post I wrote earlier on the subject. It and the next one under it has links to the court docs.

It doesn't matter what we think about Michael as guardianWell certainly it does, courts are run by humans who make mistakes. We don't just lie down and die and say well, that's the ruing! For heaven sakes where is your spirit?

Nope. Only one person "found" that "clear and convincing" evidence.
And that law was passed "afterthe fact" of her supposed (unwitnessed) statement by the person who wants (desperately) her to be dead.
And Greer, that one man reviweing thewhole sordid case, denied other evidence fron being recorded, so it could not be reviewed by higher court.

Nope.
She never had due process. Review. Or therapy.

That may be true, but her husband has not even begun to prove that she's actually in a persistent vegetative state. A number of prominent neurologists have concluded that the required tests have NOT been performed to accurately diagnose her condition. The tyrannical Judge Greer refuses to order these tests, presumably because he doesn't want to admit that he screwed up this case at the beginning (or perhaps he's been bribed.)

The husband's already on tape stating that he didn't know what she wanted - but this was what he wanted.
