I saw on CNN where some professor in Wisconsin basically stated because Terri was in such a "Vegetative State" that she "won't suffer" if she was starved to death or not. This has nothing to do with Terri's state of health. The basic argument is if you don't have a living will should others then decide your fate? Casual conversation doesn't count in my mind. A decision like this needs to be a very formal proceeding. Placed down on written word with witnesses. Like a contract. You need a contract to enforce a $500 agreement in the country but a casual conversation can take your life. I just found out listening to CSPAN from one of the Florida congressmen that Michael Schavio claimed that Terri wanted to die seven years after she was diagnosed. Seven years!!! If true I know in my heart what his intentions are.
