Angered by the lastest political developments in Washington, Michael Schiavo said Saturday that it isn't just the governor who should visit his wife to learn about the case.
'Come down, President Bush,' Schiavo said in a telephone interview. 'Come talk to me. Meet my wife. Talk to my wife and see if you get an answer. Ask her to lift her arm to shake your hand. She wont do it.'
She won't, Shiavo said, because she can't.
He made a similar offer last week to Florida Governor Jeb Bush saying lawmakers interfering in his wife's life know nothing about the case.
So far, Governor Bush has not responded to the offer. President George W, Bush has said he will sign any federal legislation that will keep Terri Schiavo alive.
Michael Schiavo also said that US Congressional House Majority Leader Tom Delay is a 'little slithering snake' pandering for votes.
'To make comments that Terri would want to live, how do they know?' Schiavo said of the members of Congress who want to keep Terri alive.
'Terri died 15 years ago,' referring to the collapse and cardiac arrest that doctors say virtually destroyed her brain. It's time for her to be with the lord like she wanted to be.'

I want the right thing to be done, whatever it is. Now, I believe that the federal courts will sustain the state courts on this issue. If so, that should be the end of it.
As to Michael, the death threats against him are inexcusable. However, please understand that at this time I do not feel comfortable with conferring hero or victim status on him.
I would like to applaud and commend you for all your hard work over the past few days in ensuring that the facts of this issue get out there.

I don't what kind of person MS is, but the allegations that are being thrown around willy-nilly border on the absurd. There is no proof from what I've seen supporting many of the claims that have been posted on this forum. I thought that FR was about the truth, there have been entirely too much twisting of the facts and propaganda that it takes an age to weed through it all.

Oh dear, I am concern as to what qualifies as a worthwhile life worth living. Oh wait, not to worry, Hildy and their friends (the culture of death) know best as to what constitutes life worthwhile..... Isn't is a great comfort in knowing that we have advanced so far that women are now deemed property of our husbands who can now dispose of us anyway they want. Can a burka be a new fashion soon? In the future, will our husbands be able to stone us to death or could starvation be the choice to look forward to. Tell me Hildy, is this what it has come too, we are now a culture of death not much different than Islam is it?

You know, I swore I wasn't going to get sucked into this. And yes, I did believe that MS was a monster, until I started to look around on my own. I have since come to change my mind some. I can't say that one side is clean and the other is not, it looks like money is the crux of what is going on now. But it isn't just in MS's camp either. It's a complex made even more so with unjustifiable smearing of character(at this point).
