Michael Schiavo: 'Come Down President Bush' (Terri's Husband is Getting Frustrated)
Tampa Bay Online ^ | 3.20.05 | William Levesque

Posted on 03/20/2005 7:51:55 AM PST by gopwinsin04

Angered by the lastest political developments in Washington, Michael Schiavo said Saturday that it isn't just the governor who should visit his wife to learn about the case.

'Come down, President Bush,' Schiavo said in a telephone interview. 'Come talk to me. Meet my wife. Talk to my wife and see if you get an answer. Ask her to lift her arm to shake your hand. She wont do it.'

She won't, Shiavo said, because she can't.

He made a similar offer last week to Florida Governor Jeb Bush saying lawmakers interfering in his wife's life know nothing about the case.

So far, Governor Bush has not responded to the offer. President George W, Bush has said he will sign any federal legislation that will keep Terri Schiavo alive.

Michael Schiavo also said that US Congressional House Majority Leader Tom Delay is a 'little slithering snake' pandering for votes.

'To make comments that Terri would want to live, how do they know?' Schiavo said of the members of Congress who want to keep Terri alive.

'Terri died 15 years ago,' referring to the collapse and cardiac arrest that doctors say virtually destroyed her brain. It's time for her to be with the lord like she wanted to be.'

He is sociopathic, I agree. Exactly like Scott Peterson. I am praying his story crumbles in front of his very eyes and he is exposed to ALL for the snake that he is.

Wow!

If that affidavit is accurate, then the hospice, the judge and Michael are complicate in depriving Terri of her basic civil rights.

Where is the US AG? Where are the Federal Marshalls?

Where is the ACLU and where is NOW?

I would think this would be a federal law enforcement issue rather than a legislative issue.

The brothers should go. And with their armed guards take her into protective custody. Every minute counts. Don't let Wexler's possible delay cause her murder to be completed while we all wait.

Saw him on TV last night, saying he should be with his wife, holding her and, instead of taking his time to be interviewed.
Couldn't help wondering which "wife" he was talking about.

Mostly unremarked in this case are the facts surrounding the settlement and his failure to use it as it was meant--for Terri's rehab. Also missing from media reports are the facts that Terri is
an inconvenience for Schiavo, and he would like for it (her) to go away.

The idea that this LEGAL husband has sole rights to put this woman to death is ludicrous, given that he has everything to gain
from her death.

What if your spouse told you that he/she wouldn't want to live in a vegetative state and others stepped in to keep her that way? Others who don't have a clue as to her condition, a condition that hasn't changed for 15 years.

I don't know about you, but I'd be pi$$ed.

That would be something, wouldn't it? The cowboy vs. the grifter...integrity vs. greed and malice....

'To make comments that Terri would want to live, how do they know?'

Hey Michael...To make comments that Terri would want to die, how do you know?

What I can't help wondering about is what is with the woman he is living with? From what I have read/heard this guy - a registered nurse by profession - did not give Terrie CPR when she had her "accident," has made sure she has not had any rehab therapy, not even allowed her teeth to be brushed, etc. How in God's name could anyone live with someone like that - let alone bear him children.

'It's time for her to be with the Lord like she wanted to be.'

And yet, he refuses to allow her to receive Communion.

It is almost a "perfect murder" scenario, if it came down the way a lot of us think--strangle her until she loses consciousness, then "let her die"...and I wonder how many spouses of either sex are wondering if they can get away with this too--plus collecting lawsuit and insurance millions, of course.

"about a 5 second video clip ... no way whatsoever a "brain dead" woman."

Too bad it wasn't longer. Then you would have seen a brain dead woman.

I remember, not long ago, a short video tape on the beating of Rodney King. Sure did look like the cops were at fault, huh?

Turns out that the COMPLETE video showed just the opposite.

A 5 second video. P.T. Barnum was right.

I wonder the same thing. If I was her, I'd be scared. Heck, she could be Michael's next victim!

All he has to do is divorce and move on with his life. Let Terri's parents care for her. Don't you find it odd that he refuses to get a divorce, yet set up house with another woman and had two children????

-Tom Delay is a 'little slithering snake'-

That's calling the kettle black. If we're going by what Terri wanted, she also wanted a divorce. Give her one, creep.

But, IIRC, Michael would not allow her communion until last friday, when her gastric tube was removed.

What a (censored!).

In all of our posts, we constantly see photos or videos of Terri. But I have never seen a photo of Michael Schiavo. I'm curious because I want to look at him very, very close to see if I can determine what his character (or his lack thereof) is. Can someone do it? Thank you.

Yeah--I would like to know a litle more about Schiavo. What's his job, for instance?
