Washington, DC, Mar. 18 (UPI) -- Terri Schiavo has been sentenced to death -- a painful gruesome death. It is a death no human should have to endure, a death by starvation. Schiavo's not in North Korea, Syria or Iran; she's in Florida. Her crime -- she wound up in a persistent vegetative state and under the jurisdiction of Judge George Greer's court.

"He (Judge Greer)'s also refused to allow new medical tests to be administered in order to assess her health condition. He refused to allow for a hearing into evidence of past abuse involving her husband or the medical facility. Finally, he refused to reconsider his ruling that husband Michael Schiavo's self-serving hearsay constituted "clear and convincing" evidence that Terri would want to die."

Terri committed no crime. The crime was, and still is at the hour of her death, being committed by the lying media. She is NOT PVS. If the media had reported her condition truthfully to the public at the beginning or at the very least when Terri's law was passed, she would not be dying today.

a death by starvation.
Actually a death by dehydration.
Equally, if not more gruesome - afterall ya never hear of people going on a "Thirsty Strike".

Here we have a lady sentenced to death, even though she has committed no crime. On top of that, she is sentenced to death by starvation, a cruel and unusual punishment. They don't even execute mass murderers in such a barbaric fashion. The judge should at least have ordered a lethal injection.
Where's the Constitution?

I imagine that if I were Michael Shiavo, I'd go through the rest of my life looking over my shoulder.
There will be scores of unstable types that will fixate on this pariah.a death by starvation.

Death by dehydration even worse...
A citizen of Florida would be arrested and sent to prison
for letting a pet rat die of thirst...
Yet the Govt is willing to let a human being die of thirst
and calls it just...
The government of Florida is demonic and therefore illegal...
Our founding fathers did not take this kind of crap from the King of England and his minons..
imo

Seems to me brutal murderous dictator thug Saddam Hussein is getting more rights than Terry Schiavo has ever received.
Bill Clinton stated that an "investigation never feeds a hungry child."
Well, Bill, perhaps an investigation will feed a hungry child.

Hey, what if you starve your dog to death, in Florida? and when they arrest you, just say -- "I thot it was ok. They did it to Terri Schiavo. This is just my dog.' I think there is a test case waiting to happen.

The Nazi's used to murder the weak and the helpless too. The program was called "Eugenics".
Are we becoming the Nazi's?

If this were a tree or a dog/cat/bird, PETA or the enviro whackos would be all over it, but since it is only a person, and a damaged one at that, they are clamoring to murder her, with the blessings of the court! We need PETP--People for the Ethical Treatment of People!

When are we gonna get militant in support of helpless people or the helpless unborn babies who are just thrown away!
