They said they will reconvene at 5 pm EST.
I am glad they are reconvening, but considering that Terri is starving, one would think, they could have reconvened at 9 am instead.

This might signal that the Senate will adopt the house's bill.
Was it the House's bill that was the stronger of the two?

The House bill was way stronger.

After doing what it takes to save Terry's life, they should declare Judge Greer in contempt of Congress and haul him up to D.C. in chains.

How would all this apply to the thousands of others out there in a similar situation to Terri? Particular those with living wills? Is this the federal government's business?

"After doing what it takes to save Terry's life, they should declare Judge Greer in contempt of Congress and haul him up to D.C. in chains."
EXACTLY. And as a consequence of that, I know there will be no shortage of FLA attorneys petitioning the FLA Bar to DISBARR this A*hole Judge.

Greer needs to be dealt with - but is there any way of doing it besides the contempt of Congress charge? Just curious...

I also just received this message from Congressman Steve King: " I just left DeLay's office
I will do a CNN debate tonight
Things have improved and I see a path for her."

Anybody in Florida willing to make a complaint to the Florida state bar?

onsidering that Terri is starving, one would think, they could have reconvened at 9 am instead.
Wouldn't want to interfere with their Saturday morning golf dates and handball games and the like.
