This is the reason that the powers that be are pushing so hard to put her to death.
This case has the potential to greatly advance the cause of euthanasia.
If they succeed they will have established a precedent for
1.Denying care and hastening the death of a person who is conscience and not in a total vegetative state without any written proof of consent from that person.
2.They will have done so based totally on the word and authority of some other person and entity who may not have the best interest of the person being denied life sustaining care.
3. They will have denied the rights of those family members [ even parents] who love and want to care for the individual.
4. In a subtle way the subject of cost has been introduced into the equation.
Yes if they succeed they will have taken a great leap toward not only euthanasia but euthanasia without the permission of the one on who the sentence is passed.
In other words the rich,famous, and powerful can have long term care but those lesser beings, well, it costs so much and it's really better for everyone including them, isn't it?
It can only get worse and get so very quickly.
Which is why we have to fight.

Yes, prayer is necessary. But so is ACTION. I won't give up. God gave us mouths and fingers and arms and the ability to communicate, reason and deliberate. I have used my God-given abilities to write and call every authority I can about this... In addition to many almost continuous prayers for months now.
Thank GOD Senator Santorum and Congressman DeLay feel there is something more than prayer that can be done.

Maybe you can get slaveholder's rights restored to Florida too. Why should only a husband have power over his wife's life ? Can't have the feds telling a state who they can kill or hold in bondage ...
Felos, Greer, etc. are using this case for their own political agendas....someone like Frist and Co. need to get this judge for contempt of Congress...and not just talk about it. Terri's welfare is the least of the concerns of those Fla. jerks!!
Where is the Justice Dept. in all this? It seems like the U.S. Atty Gen. would be consulted/used somehow.

It sure makes sense that you are a person who says she hates cats. You don't like it when someone or something sees through you or will not go along with your petulant commands.
I completely agreed and agree with you about Terri and her well-being, but all you wish to do is fight and use to many "??????'s". I've seen enough of your posts to see that you have what is known as "a short fuse". You fight with people at the drop of a hat. You immediately disagree whenever you have the opportunity, seldom trying to find common ground.
As I said in the earlier post, you seem to have a very good heart, but you're not very good at showing it. You have been extremely disagreeable and are constantly ready to pick a fight.
The only thing that matters on this thread is the care of Terri, so I would wish that you would keep your temper to yourself, direct it to the people who side with the husband and the judge, or take it to another thread.
