If they'd asked, "Do you want your parents to stop interfering?" and she said, "I waaaaaaaaaaaaant," the anti-Schiavo/pro-Schindler crowd would be crying that Mrs. Schiavo was trying to contradict the question, not confirm it. They'd say: "She was saying 'I waaaaaaaant to live'" Or they'd say "Hey, she can speak somewhat, and is not PVS. Why not give her some therapy so she could say clearly and unambiguously what she wants?"
