Again, if this actually happened, according to this account, she didn't finish the statement. She could have been wanting to say, "I want you to leave me alone to die". You are putting the words that you want to hear in her mouth.
"You are putting the words that you want to hear in her mouth."
Maybe so, but your response is the exact same thing you are accusing me of.
Checkmate?
Again, what a stellar point you are making.
I see your point. Since we don't know exactly what she was trying to say, we should just assume she wants to die, and kill her.
We MUST err on the side of death in all cases. That's the moral way.
What of reports that, when told she needed to get up or she would die in that bed, that she tried to get out of the bed, which she is, of course, incapable of doing due to atrophy of her muscles?
You certainly don't know squat.
Doesn't the fact that she could express a desire either way mean she isn't brain dead?
"You are putting the words that you want to hear in her mouth."
It seems to me it wouldn't matter what she said - just that she said something. This would prove that she isn't brain dead and should nullify the judge's order.
If she tried to say anything at all, that would indicate that she is NOT brain dead. It wouldn't matter which words she was attempting to speak.
