Greer gives order
That's what I have been saying -- a Congressional subpoena trumps this arrogant Florida judge. There is no way the Feds can allow this State Judge to ignore a Congressional subpoena or their Congressional subpoena powers would be useless!
I read that among other things that Shiavo has denied Terri is a priest's giving her last rites. Obviously, he neither cares for her Catholicism or her soul's last journey.
The act of issuing the subpoenas did not grant Congress jurisdiction. And it is not up to Michael to quash the subpoenas. He is obligated to carry out the orders of the court. The fact that Congress is now pursuing the matter in the courts is evidence of this.
so is Judge Greer now hiding out in order to avoid service?
Is Congress going to serve the hospital?
Is congress going to send the their officials (bailiffs? Marshals?) directly to the nursing staff?
Is the Chief Judge who was acting earlier going to be served?
What is happening?
WE HAVE THE LAW we just have liberal judges ignoring it. This judge has broken at least five major laws in doing this. All the laws in the world don't mean anything if you don't follow it.
I have it on my desktop to remind me what the hell it is that is worth fighting for. This murdering bastard should rot in hell along with the judge who thinks he has a god given right to decide who dies and who doesn't
My bad.
Why should he care, it's all about him!
Terri was only in her 20's when this happened. No one will convice me that she had told her husband when she was 20 something she didn't want to live if something like this happened to her.
I wonder how many people on all these threads have living wills? Myself nor my husband who is much, much older then Terri was have one. It is because we still do not know if we would want to live or die under those circumstances. I don't think there is anyway anyone knows what is happening in the brain.
Yes, it would be best for all envolved to get one, but I think it just helps the medical profession to rush the process.

reposting for those who missed it.....
Or any child under the age of a year or so.
But how did they feed her those 9 years?
If George Wallace can go and block the entrance to a school house in the 60's to stop a desegregation order, what politician today has the cajones to physically stand and block this poor woman's death sentence?
Certainly not enough from Congress.
No worries. I think the statement that he just wants to get this 'behind him' shows very clearly that this never had anything to do with Terri.
Even the dim dems have to go along with that just in case they end up in power again (heaven forbid).
