Greer gives order
He said he said that to Judge Greer, too -- and I was wondering when -- today -- and was it an appropriate conversation?
I'm listening now as well - you're right. A very good show. He tells it like it is, all right!
A lot of suspicion about the plan to cremate. Hiding evidence?
"Hitler is alive and well and living in Florida" - Savage Nation
"DNR is supposed to mean nothing extraordinary but it is used to give shabby, neglectful and deficient, care all the time. "
You know, I haven't posted anything personal yet. But my mother died of inoperable cancer and I know that my father (while conflicted) couldn't wait to be relieved of the burden of caring for her. I won't go into details but we had a chat while she was undergoing chemotherapy and he basically admitted he wanted to be free to hook up with other women.
My mother was in the hospital and was basically talked into signing the DNR statement. I was the only one to resist. But, "who am I ... to break up the "mom must die" gang" (to paraphrase one of my kids' favorite movies).
Even though I wasn't there a lot (I lived far away), my one comfort is I was the one who got the pastor there to give her her last communion.
D*mn it, I can still see her sky blue eyes when we said goodbye that last Thanksgiving.
I never saw her alive again.
Oh, and back to your original post? I've read that the farthest your room is from the nursing station, the more they think you're going to die.
My mom was at the end of the *$&*(& hall.
> They need to issue an arrest warrant for Greer immediately and bring HIM before Congress so we can all see him cower.
And the subpoena requiring that HINO and Terri appear before the congressional committee requiring their presences should be enforced. I'd also like to see Felos appear either under subpoena, or voluntarily as HINO's attorney. All four should appear so that the world can take note of Terri's condition, and the Greer/Felos/HINO triumvar put on the spot with legitimate under-oath investigative questions from committee members.
Is suspect there may be several people taking with lawyers right now.
You might be right. Savage sounds certain her parents are Jewish. Maybe she had converted. FReegards....
Mostly, I agree with you.
I doubt Congress will appreciate being overruled by an arrogant judge, either.
Personally, I'd like to see him in front of a firing squad.
I am listening to Savage Nation for the FIRST time. This is very interesting: much more interesting than the laid-back Rush Limbaugh. He should try to compete directly with Rush at the 11-2 p.m. hours.
Mark Levin is doing great too. paraphrase-Babies can survive out of the womb (terri) and they still want to execute!
No, Terri is Catholic, I'm pretty certain about that. Only today was Felos talking about her receiving Communion before the tube was removed.
Cnn just showed clip from 10/27/05 LKL interview --in which Michael said he heard Terri fall, and that he called 911 -- that is a lie that should be easily traced. Instead for some reason he called Mr. Schindler who told him to call 911, then called it himself. I was wishing Larry asked him why he didn't do CPR. He claims he held Terri in his arms.
Isn't attempted murder of a federal witness a crime in and of itself, even beyond the contempt issue?
"Sound extreme? Under ordinary circumstances maybe, but if we're going to start murdering the handicapped why stop there."
Hey, I'm living in a country that is considering allowing Sharia law under certain circumstances. Heck, let's execute those who don't wear a burka! /sarcasm.
Look... it's a bright line, people. Either we respect life or we don't.
And if the United States doesn't stand for life, then I have to say... I fear for the future of the planet. Because the United States has been the one voice for life.
And yes, there are Constitutional considerations.. and as a lawyer I've thought about them.
But if we cannot save a woman who apparently wants to live, then God help this country.
Savage takes some getting used to. He is very much on topic tonight, but he usually tends to go off on tangents and gets very worked up.
