50 years ago she would have died within days after becoming brain damaged. Keeping a brain damaged patient alive artificially for 15 years after God wanted her to die is abusive.

I agree. But if a person of sane mind could make that decision before getting into this situation such as when you make a will, etc. then we wouldn't have this position to contend with. It's a tough decision to have to make. My question was related to the future.

Michael Schiavo isn't the only pyschopath in this case after all.

The guards are possibly ignorant and until Gov Bush orders them different they have to obey. That being said, I could not do their job today with a good conscience UNLESS Bush orders them to PROTECT her life and remove her from the premises to someplace they can actually care for her.

I don't know how she got this way. I'm mystified as to why her husband is trying to starve her. He has been offered a divorce, and two different people have offered him large sums of cash to turn her over to her parents and just walk away (one offer for $1,000,000 and one for $10,000,000). I heard he has another woman and a couple of kids with her. For some reason he really really wants Terri dead.

Now that is amazing. Offered the husband a divorce and mega-money and he turns those offers down from I guess the good hearts of the American people.

This guy really wants her dead. This is a sick story Windcatcher.

I used to think it was because he wanted money. But after his refusal of 10,000,000 large, you have to wonder if the stories are true; that he may have had something to do with her condition. All speculation, but immediate cremation? That would certainly benefit someone who wanted to destroy medical and forensic evidence.
