We have a troll here - this person needs to be treated as every other troll on FR.......it matters not how long he has been here.........he is a hyspocrite and an annoyance and deserves the treatment granted to DU trolls every time he shows on a thread dealing with tobacco.
You are done Ray on smoking/tobacco related threads - I will call you on them every time.

I'm a light smoker anyway but looks like I'll be cutting back considerably from now on, or else try to find some way around this. I have no desire to pay for online cigs with anything other than a credit card (esp. after getting scammed by a scam cig site and having no recourse since I didn't use a CC), and I'll be damned if the government gets any more of my money thru' their draconian cig taxes if I can help it.

We've know his ugliness from when he was part of the threesome of cinnie, minnie and finnie..........Ray is the only one not smart enough to realize he's a goner on this issue.
I have absolutely no problem discussing the issue, even with those who disagree with my position...........I will NOT tolerate hypocrites. Most especially those that brag about being hypocrites. For some reason this dude wears his hypocrisy regarding taxes on his sleeve as a badge of honor. I'm done with him and will call in the troll alert from know on when he shows up and refuses to stick with the issue.

but i said that the day they hit $1.00 a pack... i was going to quit. they did so i did. 4 years ago, when Maine raised the taxes AGAIN, I threw my hands in the air and said 'That's IT!' I took the advise of fellow FReepers and started rolling my own.
I can roll a beautiful carton for a little under $8 dollars. The savings have been mind boggling and not paying into the state coffers anymore has been WONDERFUL!

I bet you are "addicted" to food, clothes, housing, transportation. Tax Freedom Day is between the middle of April and the end of May this year. Personally, I'm betting it's closer to the end of May. The legislatures have been really busy hiding the new bites over the last year.
