Hang around newbie...read and learn. Having worked a number of seasons on thee North Slope, I'd bet that before all is said and done, ANWR and associated fields because of the new drilling and development will top 18 BILLION barrels.

The more oil they drill for, the more ways they will find to waste it.

I guess someone who is totally clueless could say that about any raw material or even a finished product.

And so what is it that they process at the refineries at Cherry Point, Washington? Show proofs, not rumors.

You should hear the Environazis losing their marbles. The end of the world...and how many of the violent ones are willing to go up to North Alaska and sit in a tree?

Excellent news.

ANWR will create thousands of jobs and will increase our oil production by at least 1 million barrel a day.

To drive the liberals crazy, we should call ANWR oil production fields the CARIBOU PROJECT, or the CARIBOU PIPELINE... After all the Caribou herds will do much better because the project will bring warmth to the frozen tundra.

"How many Florida freepers are against offshore drilling off the West coast of Florida? I am curious."

I am a Florida Freeper and I am all for exploration and drilling off of the west coast. I happen to live on the east coast, but that is not why I am for it. I think we need to expand our energy production wherever we can.

Prominent among those who voted for the amendment (against including ANWR in the budget) was John McCain (D) Arizona.

I maintain that McCain will either be Hillary's veep or a 3rd party spoiler.

I got a refinery right down the street, oh wait, I am in Alaska, and it is a local refinery, that is causing me to pay 2.07 a gal. Can't believe that we are finally cheaper than CA, and most of the Lower 48.
