I still believe it is wrong for abortion to happen in those cases. But I don't know that the government should be the one to state that. I do not like government regulations. If pro-life advocates had invested HALF of the money and time into educating people on the dangers (both physical and spiritual) of abortion that they have in lobbying for federal laws, this probably wouldn't be much of an issue anyway.Pro abortion people use terms like "procedure" to describe this kind of murder all the time.
That's because it IS a medical procedure. In today's society, like it or not, abortion is a legal medical procedure. Work to get that changed if you want, but it nevertheless IS a medical procedure. Kind of like a lobotomy . . . you might want to look into that one yourself.
That means you KNOW you will be at a meeting with Jesus someday and you will have an excellent opportunity to explain to him all about the "exception" rule to murder God's children which God chose before they were born because you thought somehow God made a mistake in creating them. Oh, to be a fly on the wall at that conversation.
I will have plenty of my own sins to answer for. Performing or having an abortion will not be one of them.
You have a better chance of living to a thousand than out "libertarianing" me.
The proper role of government in a free society is to defend the rights of the people, nothing more. The right to live is fundamental. If they can't defend even that right, they have no legitimate function whatsoever.
I have never lobbied for any federal law. Murder is a matter for the states.

That is delusional. People have always murdered for their own reasons, they are uneducatable.
I will have plenty of my own sins to answer for. Performing or having an abortion will not be one of them.
I never said you would answer for your sin of murder. I said you would have to explain to Jesus your position on the "exceptions". As most Christians know, if you do it in your heart, it's the same as if you did it.
How do you plan to explain to Jesus why you support the murder of his children? I'd be facinated to know what you think he will agree with on the "exceptions". Please enlighten me.
BTW, sucking out someone's brains ain't a "medical procedure" because the murderer is a guy the government says is a "doctor". Tell Jesus about that terminology after you enlighten him about the exceptions. Tell him, Oh no problem, it was a fetus and a medical procedure, so it doesn't count. See if he buys into that.
I think these questions are between you and the Lord, when your time comes to face Him.
We all will have things to answer for when we face our Lord.
