Heads up, sportsfans.. Bobby "Sheets" Byrd will be speaking live at noon, EST on C-span 3, and also webcast. C-span 's website states that Durbin, Kennedy, and Schumer will accompany him. Not sure if they will also speak. Will Byrd sink to new lows. He called the GOP Hitlers and Nazis on the Senate floor last week. What's left? "Klingons?"

He says it's not the dems who want to shut down the Senate. Never mind changing the rules, we should fix healthcare, education, the deficit, energy policy. This is a really stupid speech. This is about the arogance of power. He acknowleges he can't win the battle. THey must reach out to pubbies of good will. Hahahahah. Our voices would be drowned out by the shrill voices of right wing radio.
